If you are staying in Canggu, Tuesday has a fixed point: Desa Kitsuné, where the Garden becomes the party every Tuesday with guest DJs, rain or shine. Have dinner at Ina Ré on the same grounds or at one of the Berawa restaurants that keep a DJ in the evening, then spend the night in the Garden. Read the night's page on the events page for its terms, and ask the concierge if you want a table.

Why Tuesday in Canggu means Desa Kitsuné
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu, created by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Its garden parties run on two regular nights: Tuesdays bring guest DJs, Fridays Bali-based DJs. A Tuesday is therefore the night to hear someone from outside the island without leaving Canggu, and without waiting for a weekend. Parties are 21+ and smart casual, and they go ahead rain or shine. Tuesday or Friday at Desa Kitsuné compares the two nights in detail.
The evening, step by step
- Dinner. Ina Ré is Desa Kitsuné's own restaurant: Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food, from paellas to share to ceviches, tacos and wood-fired meats, with private dining rooms for groups. Eating there means no move between dinner and the party. Dinner before Desa Kitsuné covers the other options.
- The Garden. Once the party starts, the Garden is the dance floor. Café Kitsuné and a Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds. The pool there is decorative only: the party is in the garden, not in the water.
- The way home. Plan it before you go out; the concierge can arrange a driver for the night.
Getting in on a Tuesday
Many Desa Kitsuné nights have a guestlist run by the venue. Each guest registers individually on the night's page, linked from the flyer's Guestlist button, and gets a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on that page, reduced after, and the cutoff is earlier for men. Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry, management decides, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. Some nights are ticketed only, and terms can change from one Tuesday to the next, so always read the night you want. Bring a valid photo ID, passport or driver's licence. Read the Desa Kitsuné guestlist for the steps.
A table on a Tuesday
A table is the only reserved space at the party. The venue sets its minimum spend per night; the flyer's Table button opens the night's table map, and FirstBali books with the venue. The table is yours once the venue confirms it; any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation. Tell the concierge the date, how many you are and the occasion. If you would rather not go to the party
Canggu has places whose evenings carry a DJ without a club night, according to their own descriptions:
- Jade by Todd English, Berawa. A Mediterranean restaurant and bar around a wood-fire grill, with a daily DJ; the mood shifts as the night goes on.
- Miss Fish, Berawa. A Japanese restaurant and late-night venue with an omakase bar; later in the evening, DJs take over. Dress code: smart casual.
- The Shady Pig, Berawa. A speakeasy behind an unmarked door, where you need the password; DJs take over later in the night.
Jade by Todd English
Restaurants · Berawa
Jade by Todd English is a Mediterranean restaurant and bar in Berawa, whose culinary direction draws on American chef Todd English, known for his flagship restaurant Olives. The kitchen works around a wood-fire grill, with a focus on local farms and producers, on a menu designed for sharing among friends. The cocktail bar gives its drinks an Asian touch. Warm lighting and earthy tones set the room, and the mood shifts as the night goes on, with a daily DJ and weekly late-night events.
Miss Fish
Restaurants · Berawa
Miss Fish is a Japanese restaurant and late-night venue on Jalan Raya Semat in Berawa, Canggu, open since 2022. Executive Chef Carlos Barvo leads a seasonal omakase that pairs Japanese technique with European and Latin American influences. Guests choose between the Omakase Bar, a chef-guided onyx counter, the open-air Patio and the Lounge for cocktails and shared plates, and the bar holds more than 40 sakes and Japanese whiskies. Later in the evening, DJs take over. Dress code: smart casual.
The Shady Pig
Bars · Berawa
The Shady Pig is a speakeasy on Jalan Pantai Berawa and the original bar of The Shady Family, the group behind The Shady Fox, The Shady Flamingo and The Shady Bunny. The theme is 1920s Birmingham bootleggers: the bar hides behind an unmarked door, and you need the password to get in. Cocktails lean experimental, using distillation, barrel ageing and fermentation, from the Shelby to a barrel-aged Negroni. Small plates, pinchos and sandwiches come with the drinks, and DJs take over later in the night.
For the day before, the beach clubs of Berawa run every day: Finns Beach Club keeps an all-day party going with resident DJs, and Atlas Beach Club has DJs at its pool bar through the day. Canggu from day to night shows how to link a beach afternoon to the evening.
Outside Canggu on a Tuesday
If you are ready to travel, Zumana in Kuta keeps Zumana Tuesday as one of its regular days, and Savaya on the Uluwatu clifftop runs one of its weekday nights. Bali Tuesday night compares the three Savaya Group venues on that night.
