Birthday at Desa Kitsuné: Ina Ré dinner, then the party
A Desa Kitsuné birthday: dinner at Ina Ré, perhaps in a private dining room, then a garden table on a Tuesday or Friday party night. Everyone 21+. FirstBali books both with the venue.

The classic Desa Kitsuné birthday is dinner at Ina Ré, the village's restaurant, then a table in the garden on a Tuesday or Friday party night — one address, no second journey. Book the dinner and the garden as two separate requests, check that the date is not ticketed only, and remember that the party is 21+ for every guest. FirstBali arranges both with the venue.

Choose the night first
The garden parties run every Tuesday and Friday, plus special monthly events and occasional one-off nights, so the birthday itself and the best night to celebrate it may not be the same date. Look at the calendar above before you fix anything: a birthday that falls on a Wednesday may be better celebrated on the Tuesday or Friday around it. Check too whether the night carries a guestlist or is ticketed only. Many nights from November onward are ticketed only, and on those a table or a ticket is the way in. How the two weekly nights differ is in Desa Kitsuné on Tuesday or Friday.
The age question
Every guest at a Desa Kitsuné party must be 21 or over, with a current, valid photo ID such as a passport or a driver's licence. Ina Ré has its own rule as well: according to its FAQ, on Tuesday and Friday event days only guests aged 18 and over are admitted to the restaurant, while on other days children from the age of 8 can dine. A family birthday with younger children therefore belongs on another day, or at lunch. A 21st birthday in Bali works in the garden only if everyone in the group is already 21.
Ina Ré
Restaurants · Canggu
Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.
Desa Kitsuné
Clubs · Canggu
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu — desa means village — set in a 5,000 m² garden by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds, and every Tuesday and Friday the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Parties are 21+, smart casual.
Dinner at Ina Ré
Ina Ré is the evening's first act. Its private dining rooms are, in the restaurant's words, "perfect for special occasions or intimate gatherings", with "tailored menus and a personalized dining experience". With the set menu you choose from every category, the dishes are served family-style to share, and drinks are not included. The restaurant's FAQ also mentions a per-person minimum spend for dinner later in the evening, reached with whatever food and drink you order; FirstBali passes on the figure Ina Ré confirms for your date. What is on the menu — paellas to share, ceviches, wood-fired meats — is covered in the Ina Ré guide.
Then the garden
After dinner, the party is on the same grounds. For a birthday group, a table is the natural choice: it is the only reserved space in the garden, so the group has a place to gather, raise a glass and come back to. The venue sets the minimum spend for each night, and the Table button on the night's flyer opens its table map when one is published; the details are in Desa Kitsuné table booking.
If the guestlist is enough, every guest registers individually for that event, and the men's cutoff comes earlier than the women's. Book dinner early enough for the men in the group to reach the door in time; the times are on the night's page. The registration rules are in the Desa Kitsuné guestlist guide. Mixed groups and couples, the venue states, are strongly preferred.
The cake, the candles, the surprise
A cake brought to the table at Ina Ré, a message on a plate, a bottle arriving at the garden table: tell the concierge when you book. FirstBali passes the request to the venue and tells you what can be arranged. Nothing is promised until the venue says yes.
Taking over more of the village
For a bigger celebration, Desa Kitsuné hosts private events. Its private-events page — "Private events, for you and your closest one" — presents two settings: the whole village, with Café Kitsuné, Ina Ré, the Garden and Maison Kitsuné, or the Garden on its own, with its pool, bars, cabanas, bungalows, daybeds and terrace tables. FirstBali passes a private-event request to the venue with your date, your group and your idea; the venue decides what is possible and on what terms.
Getting everyone there, and home
One vehicle with a driver keeps the group together. FirstBali arranges cars with a driver, from a Toyota Alphard to a Hiace Premio for larger groups, booked there and back in the same conversation as the table. The practical side is in getting to Desa Kitsuné, and home.
