Jimbaran day to night: beach, Rock Bar sunset, then Savaya
Jimbaran is the sunset in a southern day: a beach club in Nusa Dua or on the Pecatu cliffs, Rock Bar at AYANA as the sun goes down, dinner, then Savaya or Zumana for the night.

A Jimbaran day to night is built around one moment: the sunset at Rock Bar, AYANA Bali's cliffside bar. Spend the day at a beach club on either side, Le Bleu or Reef Beach Club in Nusa Dua to the east, or El Kabron and White Rock on the cliffs to the south, then reach Rock Bar for the sun going down, have dinner there or nearby, and finish at Savaya or Zumana if you want a club. Jimbaran sits at the neck of the Bukit peninsula, where both sides of the day meet.
Jimbaran as the hinge of the day
Jimbaran is a bay on the isthmus that leads to the Bukit peninsula. In our catalogue its evening address is Rock Bar; its days are best spent at the beach clubs around it. Think of the day in four parts, and only the third must happen in Jimbaran. The Jimbaran guide describes the bay itself.
Daytime: choose a side
East, to Nusa Dua, for a calm day by the water:
- Le Bleu by K Club, on Nusa Dua Beach, all blue and white, with sunbeds, cabanas and terraces, a seafood-led kitchen, and a weekly programme of yoga, cocktail workshops, beach games and Sunday gatherings with a DJ.
- Reef Beach Club, at The Apurva Kempinski, on the sand beside the resort's infinity pool, with cabanas, sun-loungers and watersports; casual dress, reservation required.
South, to the cliffs, for a livelier day:
- El Kabron, on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu, has the Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas, and sunset parties with DJs and live saxophone, violin and trumpet.
- White Rock Beach Club, on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, has daybeds, sofas and cabanas around a lagoon pool and a rock pool, a covered restaurant and resident DJs every day.
Le Bleu
Beach clubs · Nusa Dua
Le Bleu by K Club is a beachfront restaurant and beach club on Nusa Dua Beach, in the ITDC resort area, run by the K-Club Group. The look is French Riviera by way of Bali, all blue and white, with sunbeds, cabanas, terraces and an indoor dining room. The kitchen leans on seafood, from lobster linguine to yellowfin tuna tataki, with vegetarian and vegan options. The weekly programme mixes yoga, cocktail workshops, beach games and festive Sunday gatherings with a DJ.
El Kabron
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
El Kabron stands on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu in Uluwatu, above the Indian Ocean, and has been open since 2011. It has three parts: the Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas; the Sunset Theater at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners; and a Mediterranean restaurant serving seafood, oysters, paella and steak. Its sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, with the White Sunset Party, the Afro House Sunset Party and pool parties among the weekly regulars.
White Rock Beach Club
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
White Rock Beach Club sits on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, near Uluwatu, at the end of the cliff. Guests settle on daybeds, sofas or cabanas around a lagoon pool and a rock pool; families have a kids' pool and a kids' menu. There is a spa, a large covered restaurant serving local and international dishes, and enclosed, air-conditioned party suites overlooking the pool and the ocean. Resident DJs play every day, and foam parties run at weekends. The club also hosts weddings and events.
Sunset: Rock Bar
Leave the beach in time to change and reach Jimbaran. Rock Bar stretches along the rocks just above the ocean, reached by inclinator; the cocktails take their colours from the sea, the tapas use Jimbaran Bay seafood, and the DJs play on after dark.
What AYANA asks of visitors:
- Reserve. Visitors can book dinner tables, sofas, tapas tables, counter tops and day beds; a minimum spend applies, set by AYANA.
- Ask early for sunset. Hotel guests have priority for sunset reservations; the Round Deck is kept for villa guests and the Top Bar for hotel guests.
- Dress smart. No tank tops, no surf shorts, no alcohol-brand logos, so the beach outfit stays in the bag; no large bags, so travel light.
- Bring a card. Payment is by card or QR only.
The detail is in the Rock Bar guide.
Dinner: stay or move on
Rock Bar's dinner tables after dark keep the evening in one place. For a sit-down dinner elsewhere, The Apurva Kempinski in Nusa Dua has Koral, which the hotel presents as Bali's first aquarium restaurant, with set and tasting menus beside the tanks, adults only at dinner. Jimbaran dinner lists the other tables nearby.
Night: Savaya or Zumana
Savaya is the clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, with pools and The Cube framing its horizon, named the number-one club in Asia three years running and fifth in the world in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, per the venue. Weekend headliners, People of the Sun on Sundays, weekday nights in between. Strictly 21+, cashless, bags searched, no luggage.

At both, a table is the only reserved space, its minimum spend set by the venue per night, and re-entry is only with a table. Without one, each guest registers on the night's guestlist where one is open, or buys an official ticket on ticketed-only nights; registration does not guarantee complimentary entry, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred.
When to swap the plan
- Monday: Savaya's Last Light is a sunset set from The Cube, so Savaya can replace Rock Bar as the sunset and carry the night.
- A cliff day at El Kabron: its own sunset parties make it a second sunset option; pick one, and save Rock Bar for another evening.
- Sunday: a quiet beach at Le Bleu, then Zumana Sunday or Savaya's People of the Sun.
How FirstBali helps
Tell the concierge the day, the side of the bay you prefer and how the night should end. We ask the beach club for a daybed, AYANA for a sunset seat, the restaurant and the club for their tables, and arrange a driver for the whole day; see our cars. Each booking is yours only once the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.
