Savaya table booking: how VIP tables work

A Savaya VIP table is the only reserved space: each night has its own table map, a minimum spend set by the venue that includes food and drink credit, and re-entry. How FirstBali books it.

A VIP table at Savaya is a reserved area of the club, booked for one night, with a minimum spend that the venue sets for that night and that includes food and beverage credit. Each night has its own table map, with its own areas and its own availability. FirstBali books the table with Savaya on your behalf, and it is yours once the venue has confirmed it.

Every night in the calendar above has a Table button. It opens the venue group's own table map for that night whenever one is published: that page is the reference for the areas and the figures.

Table or guestlist, in one paragraph

The guestlist is free to join and gives standing entry, complimentary before the night's cutoff; some nights are ticketed only. A table is the only way to have a place of your own, and the only option that allows re-entry. If you are still deciding between the three, ticket, guestlist or table at Savaya sets out the choice by situation. This guide is about the table itself.

The table map, night by night

There is no single table list for the whole year. The venue group publishes a map per night, or per run of nights, such as its weekdays in a given month or a headline weekend. On the map, each area is listed with:

  • Its name, which tells you where it sits in the club.
  • A minimum spend, stated by the venue.
  • The words "Includes Food & Beverage Credit": the minimum is spent on food and drinks, not paid as an entry charge.
  • A minimum party size, which differs from one area to another.
  • Its status, which changes: an area can be marked sold out, or available on request, on one night and open on another.

Because the map belongs to the night, a table that was free last Wednesday tells you nothing about this Saturday. Look at the night you want.

The areas on the map

The names that recur on Savaya's maps:

  • Lounge — among the smallest party sizes on the map.
  • Daybed A and Daybed B.
  • The Cube Sofas — around the landmark that frames Savaya's horizon, the place to be for a sunset. See Savaya Last Light.
  • Dance Floor Sofas and DJ Sofas — closest to the music.
  • Main Deck Sofas.
  • Ocean Edge View, Cabanas and Bungalows — the areas with the largest minimum party sizes.

Some nights add others, such as The Grand Staircase or Back Stage. For several areas the map adds a note: to guarantee a specific sofa, daybed or cabana, rather than one of that type, an additional charge applies. Whether that matters to you is worth saying when you ask.

The minimum spend

The minimum spend is set by Savaya, area by area and night by night, and it moves with the night: a weekday and a headline weekend are not the same thing. We do not quote figures. The venue's map shows them when it is published, and FirstBali confirms the amount with the venue for your date before anything is agreed. Nobody else should give you a number for your night before the venue has.

What only a table gives you

  • A reserved place. Savaya's FAQ says general admission seating is limited and first come, first served, and tickets are "primarily for standing room only". A table is where your group can sit, leave its things and come back to.
  • Re-entry. At Savaya, re-entry is only permitted when a table reservation has been purchased. Speak to a Guest Relation Officer before you step out.
  • A way in on any night. Savaya's event pages state that capacity is limited to table reservations and ticket holders. On a ticketed-only night with no guestlist, a table is the other way in.

The door rules still apply to everyone at the table: strictly 21+ with a valid photo ID, smart casual, bags searched. See the Savaya dress code.

How FirstBali books your table

  1. Tell [the concierge](/concierge) the night you want, how many you are, and the area you have in mind, if any. Open the Table button on that night first if you want to look at the map.
  2. FirstBali asks Savaya for that area on that date and comes back with the venue's answer: what is available and the minimum spend for it.
  3. You decide. Nothing is booked until you have agreed.
  4. The venue confirms. Your table is yours once Savaya has confirmed it, not before.
  5. On the night, everyone at the table brings their own photo ID. FirstBali can also arrange a car with a driver there and back.

The assistant replies at any hour; anything that needs the team overnight is picked up in the morning.

When to ask

As early as you can. Areas sell out night by night, as the maps show, and high season is when to ask earliest. If your dates are fixed, ask for the table when you book your flights, not on the day. If the night you want is still unannounced, tell the concierge the date anyway.

The coming nights

Pick a night above, open its Table button to see that night's map, then send the date to the concierge.

Questions we get asked

+How do I book a table at Savaya?

Choose the night, look at its table map through the Table button on the event, and send the date and group size to the FirstBali concierge. FirstBali books it with Savaya on your behalf; it is yours once the venue confirms.

+What is the minimum spend for a VIP table at Savaya?

Savaya sets it for each area and each night, so it varies by date. The venue's table map lists it when published, and it includes food and beverage credit.

+Is the Savaya table minimum spend an entry fee?

No. Savaya's table maps state that each area's minimum spend includes food and beverage credit: it is spent on food and drinks at your table.

+Which table areas are there at Savaya?

The venue's maps list the Lounge, Daybeds, The Cube Sofas, Dance Floor Sofas, DJ Sofas, Main Deck Sofas, Ocean Edge View, Cabanas and Bungalows, with others on some nights. Each has its own minimum party size.

+Can I leave Savaya and come back with a table?

Yes. Re-entry at Savaya is only permitted when a table reservation has been purchased; speak to a Guest Relation Officer before you step out.

+Can I get a table at Savaya on a ticketed-only night?

Tables are offered on those nights too, subject to what is left on that night's map. Ask the concierge as early as you can, because areas sell out night by night.
