30th birthday in Bali: the big night and the trip around it
Turning 30 in Bali: pick the one big night at Savaya, Zumana or Desa Kitsuné, book a table for the group, and build the friends' trip around it with FirstBali's concierge.

A 30th birthday in Bali works best as one big night with the trip built around it: choose the night first — a clifftop headliner at Savaya, a sunset that turns into a party at Zumana, or a garden party at Desa Kitsuné — then book a table so the group has its own place. FirstBali books the table with the venue, the dinner before and the drivers; nothing is confirmed until the venue confirms it.

Why a 30th is planned differently
A 21st is about getting in; a 30th is usually about getting everyone together. Friends fly in from different places, some arrive late, some leave early, and the birthday night is the one moment the whole group shares. That changes the priorities: a reserved table rather than a standing floor, a dinner where everyone can talk first, and a way home that nobody has to organise at the end. For the general toolkit, see a birthday party in Bali.
Choose the big night
Savaya, Uluwatu: the headline night
Savaya sits on the clifftop at Pecatu, 100 metres above the Indian Ocean, and DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it the number-one club in Asia from 2024 to 2026 and fifth in the world in 2026, as Savaya reports. Weekends bring international headliners; Monday is Last Light, the sunset set from The Cube; Sunday is People of the Sun. For a 30th that should feel like an event, this is the obvious stage. More in a birthday at Savaya.
Zumana, Kuta: sunset first, then the party
Zumana is the Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay, open since August 2026, with daybeds, pools and an open-air dance floor. Saturday is Ritual of the Sun, Wednesdays and Fridays are headliner nights, and its restaurant, Manuza, is on the same site, so the group never has to move. See a birthday at Zumana.
Desa Kitsuné, Canggu: a garden party
Every Tuesday and Friday, Desa Kitsuné's garden becomes the party, rain or shine. Dinner at Ina Ré, in the same village, and a short walk to the dance floor make it the easiest evening to run for a group staying in Canggu or Berawa. See a birthday at Desa Kitsuné.
Why the table matters
On a guestlist or a ticket, everyone is in general admission, and at Savaya tickets are "primarily for standing room only". A table is the only reserved space, the group's base for the night, and at Savaya and Zumana the only way to step out and come back. Its minimum spend is set by the venue for each night, and on the Savaya and Zumana maps it includes food and beverage credit. Tell the concierge how many you are and FirstBali asks what that night's map offers. The table is yours once the venue confirms it; any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.
If some friends prefer the guestlist, each registers individually on the night's page and receives a digital ticket by email. Registration does not guarantee entry, and mixed groups are strongly preferred.
The days around the night
- Arrival day. Keep it light: dinner near where you stay, early night. See your first night in Bali.
- A beach club day. Daybeds in Berawa or at Zumana, for the group to settle in.
- The birthday night. Dinner, then the table, then the drivers.
- The day after. A long lunch, a boat, or nothing at all.
A shared villa keeps everyone together between the plans: see a group villa in Bali.
Cake, sparklers, surprises: ask first
The three venues publish no birthday package, so FirstBali promises none. Tell the concierge what you have in mind when you book; FirstBali checks with the venue what can be arranged for your date and tells you exactly what it has confirmed.
The door, for everyone
- ID for each person. All three venues are 21+ with a valid passport or driver's licence; nobody in the group is waved through.
- Smart casual. One friend turned away spoils the start of the night: check the club dress code.
- Savaya travels light. Cashless, bags searched, limited lockers, no luggage, no outside food or drink.
- The door decides. Management has the final word, booking or not.
How FirstBali arranges it
Tell the concierge the date, the group size and where everyone stays. FirstBali books the table and the dinner with the venues, sends the guestlist link if the night has one, and adds cars with drivers for the evening. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.
Savaya Bali
Clubs · Uluwatu
Savaya is a clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, set 100 metres above the Indian Ocean between jungle and limestone cliffs, with pools and The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. Named the number-one club in Asia three years running (2024–2026) and fifth in the world in 2026 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, it is open daily: Last Light every Monday, weekday nights, and international headliners at weekends. Strictly 21+, smart casual.
Zumana
Beach clubs · Kuta
Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, a Savaya Group property designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, and its restaurant is Manuza. Open daily: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. 21+, smart casual.
Desa Kitsuné
Clubs · Canggu
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu — desa means village — set in a 5,000 m² garden by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds, and every Tuesday and Friday the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Parties are 21+, smart casual.
El Kabron
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
El Kabron stands on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu in Uluwatu, above the Indian Ocean, and has been open since 2011. It has three parts: the Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas; the Sunset Theater at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners; and a Mediterranean restaurant serving seafood, oysters, paella and steak. Its sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, with the White Sunset Party, the Afro House Sunset Party and pool parties among the weekly regulars.

Questions we get asked

It is the only reserved space and gives the group a base; at Savaya and Zumana it is also the only way to re-enter. The venue sets its minimum spend per night.
