Boys trip to Bali: days, wheels and three club nights
A boys trip to Bali that is more than nights out: a training session, a jeep or a supercar, a day on the water, and one night each at Desa Kitsuné, Zumana and Savaya, with tables.

A boys trip to Bali works best when the days are as planned as the nights. Train or recover in the morning, take the wheel or a boat in the afternoon, eat well, and give the trip three proper club nights: Desa Kitsuné's Garden in Canggu, Zumana in Kuta and Savaya on the Pecatu cliffs. A group of men should plan on tables for those nights — the clubs prefer mixed groups — and keep the rest of the evenings for dinners and bars. If a groom is involved, read the bachelor party guide instead.
Mornings: train, then recover
After a big night, a session sorts the group out. Reload Sanctuary in Canggu is a training and recovery club from the team behind Reload Gym in Jakarta, in a building by Indonesian architect Andra Matin, with open-air training floors and a rooftop above the rice fields. Inside: a strength and conditioning gym, a HYROX zone, classes from boxing to Pilates and yoga, and a recovery area with sauna and steam room. See the gym day pass guide.
Afternoons: wheels and water
Take the wheel
FirstBali's fleet covers the whole spectrum, from a Jeep Wrangler for the coast roads to supercars such as a Lamborghini Huracán or a McLaren 720S, and scooters like the Yamaha NMAX for anyone with the right licence. Read the jeep rental guide, the supercar guide and the scooter licence rules first. Never drive after drinking: on club nights, a driver takes the group.
Get on a boat
A day on the water is the trip's reset: a private boat to Nusa Penida, a fishing charter or a yacht at sunset. Options in the yacht charter guide, the fishing charter guide and the Nusa Penida private boat.
Or a beach club
Finns Beach Club in Berawa is adults-only, with several party zones, swim-up bars and private cabanas, and an all-day party every day. On the Uluwatu cliffs, El Kabron's Hedonism Lounge is an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds.
Finns Beach Club
Beach clubs · Berawa
FINNS Beach Club stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, in Canggu, under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only and divided into several party zones, from FINNS Beach Party and FINNS Garden Party to FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants spread across the site. Resident DJs and live singers keep an all-day party going every day, and the club also hosts private events, birthdays and corporate groups.
El Kabron
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
El Kabron stands on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu in Uluwatu, above the Indian Ocean, and has been open since 2011. It has three parts: the Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas; the Sunset Theater at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners; and a Mediterranean restaurant serving seafood, oysters, paella and steak. Its sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, with the White Sunset Party, the Afro House Sunset Party and pool parties among the weekly regulars.
Evenings: eat like it matters
Dinner holds a group together. In Berawa, Aged & Butchered grills dry-aged cuts over coffee-wood charcoal with yakiniku-style grills at the table. North of Ubud, Akar turns Friday and Saturday dinners into a show, with live DJs, dancers and a laser show. Moi on Jalan Pantai Berawa is a Mediterranean dinner that turns into a party after sunset.
Aged & Butchered
Restaurants · Berawa
Aged & Butchered Bali is the island branch of the Jakarta dry-aged steakhouse of the same name, run by MDA Restaurants inside The Komu hotel in Berawa. The draw is its meat library of dry-aged cuts, grilled over coffee-wood charcoal, with Japanese yakiniku-style grills at the table where the chefs cook in front of guests. The moody, stylish room adds a sake fountain, an extensive wine collection and an outdoor bar area. An address built around the grill, for an evening of serious steak.
Akar
Restaurants · Ubud
Akar, meaning “root”, is the steakhouse of K Club in Kedisan, Tegallalang, north of Ubud, set in the greenery of the jungle. Spread over two floors with two bars and an open kitchen, it grills Australian and Japanese cuts, Wagyu included, over charcoal, alongside seafood, charcoal-roasted bone marrow and a curated wine list. On Friday and Saturday nights dinner turns festive, with live DJs, dancers and a laser show. Akar has won Best Luxury Steakhouse in Indonesia at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards.
Moi
Restaurants · Berawa
MOI Canggu is a Mediterranean restaurant on Jalan Pantai Berawa, inspired by the Aegean and by Bodrum, home of its sister address MOI Bodrum. The kitchen works with fire and Mediterranean flavours, for dinners meant to be lingered over, and the cocktails draw on sun-warmed botanicals. After sunset the mood shifts and the evening turns into a party. Themed nights include Monday Society and Bazaar MOI, an Eastern Mediterranean dinner spectacle with dancers and costumes.
Three club nights, three settings
- Desa Kitsuné, Tuesday or Friday. The Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Ina Ré is a few steps away for dinner. The men's guestlist cutoff is earlier than the women's.
- Zumana, any night. At Sunset Bay in Kuta: headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays, Zumana Sunday, and weeknights including Made in Kuta.
- Savaya, the big one. International headliners at weekends, Last Light from The Cube on Mondays, People of the Sun on Sundays. DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it number one in Asia from 2024 to 2026 and fifth in the world in 2026.

All three are 21+ with a valid photo ID, and all three say mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred; registration on the guest list does not guarantee complimentary entry. That is why a group of men should plan on tables. A table's minimum spend is set by the venue for each night; at Savaya and Zumana it is the only way to leave and re-enter. The table is yours once the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation. Why this matters is set out in group of guys in Bali.
The base: one villa
A villa keeps everyone under one roof, with space to regroup between days. Choose the area by the nights you want: Canggu for Desa Kitsuné and the beach clubs, the Bukit for Savaya. See the group villa guide.
Getting around as a group
Book one vehicle for the group on every club night, there and back, with the return arranged before you go in. A van or an Alphard with driver fits the plan; see a van with driver.
How FirstBali arranges it
Send the concierge your dates, the head count and the shape you want. We check what can be arranged — villa, vehicles, a boat, dinner reservations, table requests — and share each venue's terms before you commit. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening. No one can promise entry at a club: the door belongs to the venue.
