Bali couples group trip: nights out for several couples

Travelling to Bali with other couples? A group of couples is a mixed group, which Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné prefer. How to plan shared nights, tables and nights for two.

Updated November 8, 2026 · 4 min read

On a trip to Bali with several couples, your group already matches the venues' door preference: Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné all say mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred at the door. The work is in the planning: everyone registers individually for each guestlist, a table is the only space reserved for the whole group, and it helps to leave a night or two for each couple on their own. The concierge can plan the shared nights, the dinners and the cars.

Why a group of couples works at the door

All three partner venues state the same door preference: mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. A group made of couples is, by nature, both. That does not guarantee anything: the venues also say registration on the guestlist does not guarantee complimentary entry, and management decides. But it means your group arrives in the shape the venues ask for. Arriving together, rather than the men first and the women later, keeps it that way.

Everyone registers, one by one

The guestlists at Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné are the venues' own. Each guest registers individually for each event on the night's page, linked from the flyer's Guestlist button on the events calendar, and receives a digital ticket by email. In a group of couples, one person cannot register the others, so share the link in your group chat and check that everyone has their ticket before you leave. Entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the night's page and reduced after. At Desa Kitsuné, men have an earlier cutoff, which matters most when couples arrive in separate cars: travel together. Some nights are ticketed only, and terms change per night. How to register for a guestlist walks through it.

A table for the whole group

A table is the only reserved space at all three venues, and the way to keep several couples in one place for the night. Its minimum spend is set by the venue per night; at Savaya and Zumana, the venues' maps say it includes food and beverage credit. At Savaya and Zumana, a table is also the only way to re-enter. FirstBali books the table with the venue, and it is yours once the venue confirms it; any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation. The Bali table booking guide explains the steps.

Planning the shared nights

Build the week around the venues' regular nights, then check the events calendar for your dates:

  • Desa Kitsuné, Canggu: garden parties every Tuesday and Friday, rain or shine. Its restaurant, Ina Ré, is on the grounds and has private dining rooms for groups, so a dinner for all the couples and the party share one address.
  • Zumana, Kuta: a Savaya Group beach club at Sunset Bay, with Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays, Zumana Sunday, and a weeknight rotation that includes Made in Kuta. Its restaurant, Manuza, is on site.
  • Savaya, Uluwatu: Last Light every Monday, a sunset set from The Cube, and international headliners at weekends. DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it the number-one club in Asia from 2024 to 2026, according to DJ Mag and Savaya.

Keeping nights for two

Leave each couple an evening alone, too. Plan them on nights the group has no shared booking, and in an area that suits each pair. Our area guides help: Uluwatu date night, Canggu date night and Seminyak date night. The concierge can take several separate dinner requests for the same evening and checks what can be arranged.

Rules that apply to everyone

All three venues are 21+ with a valid photo ID, such as a passport or a driver's licence: every member of the group needs their own. Savaya is cashless, bags are searched, lockers are limited and luggage is not allowed. Desa Kitsuné's pool is decorative, not for swimming.

Staying and moving together

A shared villa keeps the group in one place, and the concierge can look at villas for the number of bedrooms you need; see a group villa in Bali. For nights out, a van with a driver keeps the couples in one vehicle, which also helps at Desa Kitsuné's door. Browse transport or read a van with driver.

How FirstBali arranges it

Tell the concierge your dates, how many couples you are, where you are staying and which nights you want together. We check with the venues what can be arranged, and each booking is yours once the venue confirms it. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.

Questions we get asked

+Is a group of couples welcome at Bali's clubs?

Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné all say mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. Registration still does not guarantee complimentary entry; management decides at the door.

+Can one person register the whole group on the guestlist?

No. Each guest registers individually for each event on the night's page and receives their own digital ticket by email.

+Why should we arrive together at Desa Kitsuné?

Desa Kitsuné has an earlier cutoff for men, shown on the night's page, and prefers mixed groups and couples, so arriving as couples together helps.

+Can we book one table for all the couples?

Yes. A table is the only reserved space; its minimum spend is set by the venue per night, and it is yours once the venue confirms it.

+Where can a group of couples have dinner together?

Ina Ré, the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, has private dining rooms for groups, on the same grounds as the Tuesday and Friday garden parties.

+Can FirstBali arrange separate dinners for each couple?

The concierge can take several separate requests for the same evening and checks what can be arranged; each booking is yours once the venue confirms it.
