Bali nightlife glossary: guestlist, minimum spend, F&B credit

Guestlist, cutoff, ticketed only, minimum spend, F&B credit, daybed, cabana, re-entry: the words on Bali's club pages and flyers, defined from the venues' own terms, without a single guess.

Updated October 22, 2026 · 4 min read

Bali's club pages are written in a shorthand of their own. A guestlist is the venue's free list for one night; the cutoff is the moment complimentary entry ends; ticketed only means that night has no list; a minimum spend is what a table commits you to, and at Savaya and Zumana it includes food and beverage credit. Below, each term as the venues themselves use it, with the partner clubs Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné as the reference.

Getting in

Guestlist

At Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné, the guestlist is the venue's own list, opened night by night. Each guest registers individually on that night's page and receives a digital ticket by email. Joining is free. FirstBali runs no list of its own: we send you the night's page. The full process is in the Bali guestlist guide.

Cutoff

The point in the night after which a guestlist ticket no longer gives complimentary entry. Before it, entry is complimentary; after it, entry is reduced rather than free. Each night's page shows its own cutoff, and at Desa Kitsuné the cutoff comes earlier for men. More in the guestlist cutoff guide.

Ticketed only

A night with no guestlist: entry is by ticket, sold through the venue's own channel only. Terms change night by night, and a ticketed night can open a list later, so the night's page is the only reliable answer. At Savaya, tickets are "primarily for standing room only".

No guarantee

All three partner venues say it plainly: registration on the guest list does not guarantee complimentary entry, and management decides at the door. They also write that mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred.

21+ and photo ID

All three are 21 and over, with a valid photo ID: a passport or a driver's licence. See Bali clubs and the age limit.

Tables and spending

Table

The only reserved space at the partner clubs. Without one, you are on the floor with everyone else. FirstBali books tables with the venue on your behalf, and a table is yours once the venue confirms it.

Table map

The venue's own plan of the night's tables. On our events flyers, the Table button opens it.

Minimum spend

The amount a table commits the group to spend on the night. The venue sets it for each table and each night; it is not an entry fee. We never quote it: the concierge confirms it with the venue.

F&B credit

Short for food and beverage credit. Savaya's and Zumana's table maps say the minimum spend "Includes Food & Beverage Credit": what you order is counted against it.

Deposit

Some tables ask for one. It follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation: only the venue's confirmation makes the table yours.

Bottle service

Bottles ordered to the table and served there. See bottle service in Bali.

Day and beach-club words

Daybed

A large cushioned bed by the pool or the sea, booked for the day. White Rock, El Kabron, Atlas and Zumana all describe daybeds. More in the beach-club daybed guide.

Cabana

A shaded, semi-private structure, usually larger than a daybed, for a group. White Rock, Le Bleu and Finns list cabanas.

Sofa or lounge

Seating for a group, often between a daybed and a table. The words vary by venue; the concierge asks what each one includes. Atlas, for instance, spreads daybeds and sofas across distinct zones, from The Deck restaurant to the Party Side in front of the stage, so the zone matters as much as the seat.

White Rock Beach Club

White Rock Beach Club

Beach clubs · Uluwatu

White Rock Beach Club sits on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, near Uluwatu, at the end of the cliff. Guests settle on daybeds, sofas or cabanas around a lagoon pool and a rock pool; families have a kids' pool and a kids' menu. There is a spa, a large covered restaurant serving local and international dishes, and enclosed, air-conditioned party suites overlooking the pool and the ocean. Resident DJs play every day, and foam parties run at weekends. The club also hosts weddings and events.

El Kabron

El Kabron

Beach clubs · Uluwatu

El Kabron stands on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu in Uluwatu, above the Indian Ocean, and has been open since 2011. It has three parts: the Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas; the Sunset Theater at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners; and a Mediterranean restaurant serving seafood, oysters, paella and steak. Its sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, with the White Sunset Party, the Afro House Sunset Party and pool parties among the weekly regulars.

Le Bleu

Le Bleu

Beach clubs · Nusa Dua

Le Bleu by K Club is a beachfront restaurant and beach club on Nusa Dua Beach, in the ITDC resort area, run by the K-Club Group. The look is French Riviera by way of Bali, all blue and white, with sunbeds, cabanas, terraces and an indoor dining room. The kitchen leans on seafood, from lobster linguine to yellowfin tuna tataki, with vegetarian and vegan options. The weekly programme mixes yoga, cocktail workshops, beach games and festive Sunday gatherings with a DJ.

Finns Beach Club

Finns Beach Club

Beach clubs · Berawa

FINNS Beach Club stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, in Canggu, under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only and divided into several party zones, from FINNS Beach Party and FINNS Garden Party to FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants spread across the site. Resident DJs and live singers keep an all-day party going every day, and the club also hosts private events, birthdays and corporate groups.

At the door and inside

Re-entry

Leaving and coming back in. At Savaya and Zumana, re-entry is only possible with a table.

Cashless

Savaya is cashless: bring a card. Zumana takes card and QR payments only.

Smart casual

The dress code at all three partner clubs. What it rules out, venue by venue, is in the Bali club dress code.

Standing room

General entry, without a reserved place. At Savaya, that is what tickets mainly are.

Where FirstBali fits

Ask the concierge about any term on a flyer. An assistant answers at any hour; the team works through the Bali day and evening, books tables with the venue and confirms amounts with it. Nothing is confirmed until the venue confirms it.
