Desa Kitsuné at the weekend: Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Desa Kitsuné's weekend party is Friday: the garden's weekly nights are Tuesday and Friday. Saturday and Sunday belong to Ina Ré's own menus, or to Savaya and Zumana in the same group.

At the weekend, Desa Kitsuné's party night is Friday. The garden's two weekly parties fall on Tuesday and Friday, "rain or shine", so there is no regular Saturday or Sunday party in the garden, only the occasional one-off night. Saturday and Sunday at the village belong to Ina Ré, the restaurant on the grounds, with its Courtyard Saturdays and Sunday brunch menus; for a party on those nights, look to Savaya and Zumana, run by the same group.

The calendar above lists the coming nights at Desa Kitsuné. If a Saturday or Sunday appears in it, that is a one-off night, with its own terms.

Friday: the weekend's garden party

Friday is Desa Kitsune Friday. In the venue's words, it is about "celebrating and supporting local talent", with DJs who are Bali based, from international backgrounds. It is the only regular weekend night in the garden, so it is the one to plan around.

Each Friday is its own event:

  • Guestlist or ticket. Some Fridays carry the venue's free guestlist, with complimentary entry before the cutoff shown on the night's page, earlier for men than for women. Others are ticketed only. Check the date, not a previous week.
  • One registration per person, per night. A Tuesday registration does not cover Friday.
  • A table is the only reserved space in the garden; the venue sets its minimum spend per night.

How Friday compares with Tuesday is the subject of Desa Kitsuné on Tuesday or Friday.

Saturday: Courtyard Saturdays at Ina Ré

Saturday at the village is a restaurant day rather than a party night. Ina Ré, the Desa Kitsuné restaurant led by Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina, has a dedicated Courtyard Saturdays menu, with its own drinks, tapas and sharing boards. The menu itself is set out in the Courtyard Saturdays guide.

Occasionally the garden does open on a Saturday for a one-off night. Those nights follow their own terms, shown on the night's page in the calendar above.

Sunday: brunch, then a slower day

Sunday has its own menu too: Ina Ré's Sunday brunch, described dish by dish in the Ina Ré Sunday brunch guide. Café Kitsuné and the Maison Kitsuné boutique complete the village; what is open, and when, is on the Desa Kitsuné page. More on how Sunday works there is in Desa Kitsuné on Sunday.

Saturday and Sunday nights in the same group

Desa Kitsuné belongs to the Savaya Group, and its two sister venues carry the weekend nights the garden does not:

  • Zumana, Saturday: Ritual of the Sun, at Sunset Bay in Kuta. See Zumana's Ritual of the Sun.
  • Savaya, the weekend: headliners on the Uluwatu clifftop, and People of the Sun on Sundays. DJ Mag lists Savaya in its Top 100 Clubs, number one in Asia from 2024 to 2026, according to DJ Mag and Savaya.
  • Zumana, Sunday: Zumana Sunday, a night of its own.

The three venues share the same door basics: 21+ with a valid photo ID, a free guestlist on the nights that have one, and "mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred". A weekend across all three is planned in the Savaya weekend guide and the Zumana weekend guide.

Three ways to shape the weekend

  1. The Canggu weekend. The garden party on Friday, Courtyard Saturdays at Ina Ré, Sunday brunch. One address, three moods.
  2. The group weekend. Desa Kitsuné on Friday, Zumana on Saturday, Savaya on Sunday: three different settings, each booked as its own night.
  3. Friday only. Dinner at Ina Ré, then the garden on the same grounds. A dinner booking does not put you on the list: register or book a table as well, as explained in Desa Kitsuné from day to night.

Before Friday

  • Dress. Smart casual. Hard-sole shoes, boots, flip-flops, chains, baggy clothing and sportswear are refused. Details in the Desa Kitsuné dress code.
  • Arrive before the cutoff. If your group includes men, their cutoff comes first.
  • Plan the ride home. A car with a driver booked for the evening is the simplest option: ask on the transport page.

How FirstBali helps

Tell the concierge which weekend you are in Bali. FirstBali sends the link to each night's guestlist page, says which nights are ticketed only, and books tables and the Ina Ré dinner with the venues. A table is yours only once the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.
