Zumana at the weekend: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

A Zumana weekend runs a headliner on Friday, Ritual of the Sun on Saturday, usually with a guest, and Zumana Sunday. Each date has its own guestlist, ticket or table terms.

A weekend at Zumana runs three different days: Friday is a headliner night, Saturday is Ritual of the Sun, usually with a guest artist, and Sunday is Zumana Sunday, the house's own day. Terms vary by date — some nights have a free guestlist, some are ticketed only — so the calendar below, with each date's page, is the reference.

Friday: a headliner night

Zumana books headline artists on Fridays, as it does on Wednesdays. These are the dates whose terms vary most. Some keep the venue's guestlist, with complimentary entry before the night's cutoff; others are ticketed only, with no list, and the only valid tickets come from Zumana's own official channel, linked from the night's page. Zumana tickets explains how to tell, and Zumana headliner nights looks at these nights more closely.

Saturday: Ritual of the Sun

Saturday is Zumana's fixed weekend point: Ritual of the Sun, usually with a guest, announced on each Saturday's page. Zumana Ritual of the Sun is the guide to the night.

Sunday: Zumana Sunday

Sunday carries the house's own name. Zumana Sunday is a regular day, every week, and a steadier one to plan around after a big Saturday. Zumana Sunday has the detail, and Sunday funday in Bali puts it alongside the island's other Sundays.

Planning the three days

  • One big night: choose Friday or Saturday from the calendar, and check at once whether it has a list or is ticketed.
  • A slower weekend: keep Saturday for Ritual of the Sun and spend Sunday at Zumana Sunday.
  • A group: book a table early for the night that matters most; headliner dates are the busiest. A group night at Zumana covers larger parties.
  • A beach afternoon: Zumana is laid out around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor; the Zumana daybed guide explains booking a spot.

Guestlist, ticket or table

  • Guestlist — the venue's own list, free to join. You register individually for each night on its page and receive a digital ticket by email. Entry is complimentary before that night's cutoff and reduced after it. Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry; management decides, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. The Zumana guestlist walks through it.
  • Ticket — on ticketed-only nights, from Zumana's official channel only.
  • Table — the only reserved space. Zumana sets the minimum spend for each night, and its table map notes that it includes food and beverage credit. Re-entry is possible only with a table.

For a table on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, tell the concierge the date and your group size. FirstBali books with Zumana on your behalf, and the table is yours once Zumana has confirmed it. Any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation. An assistant answers at any hour; the team works through the Bali day and evening.

  • Your guestlist email or ticket ready, in the name you used.

The place

Zumana is on the beachfront at Sunset Bay in Kuta, on Jl. Kartika Plaza: "a Savaya Group Property", designed by Rockwell Group and opened in 2026. At its centre stands ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, and its restaurant is Manuza. Getting to Zumana covers the approach; FirstBali can arrange a driver for the weekend through transport.

A Savaya Group weekend

If you want to spread the weekend across the group, Savaya, on the Uluwatu clifftop, books international headliners at weekends and runs "People of the Sun" on Sundays (the Savaya weekend); Desa Kitsuné, in Canggu, holds a garden party every Friday, rain or shine, with Bali-based DJs.
