Bring a current, valid photo ID, a card to pay with, your phone with your ticket or guestlist email on it, and a small bag that you do not mind having searched. Leave luggage, outside food and drink, props, professional cameras and anything sharp at the villa. That is the whole of Savaya's FAQ in two sentences; the rest of this guide explains each item, because getting one wrong can cost you the night.

The short list
Bring
- Passport or driver's licence, the original and valid.
- A bank card or another cashless way to pay.
- Your phone, charged, with your digital ticket or guestlist email.
- A small bag.
- A smart casual outfit, already on.
Leave behind
- Suitcases and big travel bags.
- Outside food, drinks and candy.
- Toys, props and inflatables.
- Professional cameras, tripods and drones.
- Anything sharp.
- Jeans and anything denim, beer-branded singlets, cut-offs and sportswear.
ID: the one thing you cannot forget
Savaya "strictly enforce[s] a 21+ policy", and valid ID is required on entry. The FAQ names what it accepts: "a current, valid photo ID such as a valid Passport or valid Driver's license". Bring the document itself, even if you are clearly over 21, and check that it has not expired. Every person in the group needs their own. Age rules across Bali's clubs are compared in the Bali clubs age limit guide.
Paying: card, not cash
Savaya is a cashless venue. In the FAQ's words, "cash payments may only be accepted in exceptional circumstances with prior management approval and are not guaranteed." Bring a card that works abroad, and a second one if you have it, in case one is declined. If you have a table, the minimum spend set by the venue is spent at the table; FirstBali confirms that amount with Savaya before you go.
Your phone
Your phone does several jobs on a Savaya night:
- Your entry. Guestlist registrations arrive as a digital ticket by email; keep it, or any ticket bought from the venue's official channel, ready to show at the door.
- Your way home. Save your driver's number before you leave. How the return works is in getting to Savaya.
- Your camera. Professional cameras, tripods and drones are on the prohibited list, so the phone is the camera for the night.
Charge it fully before you set off: an event day runs from the afternoon into the night.
For a sunset session
Many Savaya days start in the afternoon sun, on a cliff above the Indian Ocean, and some nights are built around the sunset: Last Light on Mondays and People of the Sun on Sundays. Put on sun protection before you leave, bring sunglasses, and dress for heat that turns into evening. If you plan to use the pools, bring swimwear: it is for the pools only, not the rest of the club. The dress code still applies to everything else you wear; see the Savaya dress code, and for Mondays, Savaya Last Light.
Bags, lockers and luggage
- All bags are searched. "All bags, backpacks, purses or parcels are all subject to search", for safety. A small bag makes the door quicker.
- Lockers are limited. Savaya offers lockers for a fee, on a first come, first served basis. Do not count on one being free.
- No luggage. The venue does not recommend bringing luggage or a big travel bag. Luggage storage exists but is limited, and a big suitcase is on the prohibited list for regular days. If you are moving between hotels that day, drop your bags first.
Leave it at the villa
Savaya's prohibited list for regular days covers outside food and beverages, candy, toys, props, big suitcases, inflatables, professional cameras, tripods, drones and all sharp objects. The venue adds that "this is not an exhaustive list" and that management reserves all rights to refuse entry. In practice:
- Party accessories. Birthday, bachelor or hen props stay home. More on that in a birthday at Savaya.
- Snacks and drinks. Eat before, or at Savaya.
- Valuables you will not need. Anything left behind is easier to keep safe than anything carried.
- The wrong clothes. Denim, beer-branded singlets, cut-off clothing and athletic sportswear are refused at the door.
If you lose something
Savaya runs a lost and found. Its FAQ asks for the estimated time of the loss, the area of the venue and a description of the item. If you booked through FirstBali, tell the concierge and the team passes the details to the venue; what is found is up to Savaya.
