A day to night on the Tabanan coast starts at Luna Beach Club, the bamboo club on the cliffs inside Nuanu Creative City by Nyanyi Beach, west of Canggu. Spend the day by its pools, stay while the DJs play through sunset and the fire and light shows begin, then, on a Tuesday or a Friday, carry on to the garden party at Desa Kitsuné in Canggu.

Luna Beach Club is perched on the cliffs of the Tabanan coast, inside Nuanu Creative City by Nyanyi Beach, west of Canggu. Its bamboo architecture by Inspiral Architects won a Silver award for sustainable and green architecture at the 2024 International Architecture & Design Awards. The complex brings together two pools, jumping platforms and a water slide, Restaurant 369, the Utopia Cave Club and the Gardenia bamboo tree pods. DJs play through sunset, and evenings bring fire and light shows.

Afternoon at Luna

Luna is a complex rather than a single deck. According to its own description, it brings together:

  • two pools, with jumping platforms and a water slide;
  • Restaurant 369, for a long lunch or an early dinner;
  • the Gardenia bamboo tree pods, for a quieter corner;
  • the Utopia Cave Club, the part of the site built for the later hours.

Its bamboo architecture, by Inspiral Architects, won a Silver award for sustainable and green architecture at the 2024 International Architecture & Design Awards, according to the venue. Sunset and the first part of the evening

Luna's DJs play through sunset, and evenings bring fire and light shows. If the day is about the coast, you can stay for both and finish with dinner at Restaurant 369. Many Tabanan days end here, and nothing about that is a lesser plan: you have had the pools, the music and the show without moving once.

Night: on to Desa Kitsuné, on Tuesday or Friday

If you want a party after Luna, the nearest of FirstBali's partner venues is Desa Kitsuné in Canggu, the Savaya Group's lifestyle village with Maison Kitsuné. Every Tuesday and Friday its Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. On other days, check the coming nights below rather than assuming.

What to know before you go:

  • It is 21+, with a valid passport or driver's licence, and smart casual. Swimwear and sportswear from the afternoon will not do: bring a change. See the Desa Kitsuné dress code.
  • The guestlist is the venue's own. Each guest registers individually on the night's page, reached from the Guestlist button on our events page, and receives a digital ticket by email. Entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the night's page, reduced after, and the cutoff comes earlier for men. Registration does not guarantee entry; management decides.
  • A table is the only reserved space. Its minimum spend is set by the venue per night; FirstBali books it with the venue, and it is yours once the venue confirms it.

Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu — desa means village — set in a 5,000 m² garden by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds, and every Tuesday and Friday the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.

  1. A change of clothes. The pool day and the party have different dress codes.
