Uluwatu Monday night: Last Light at Savaya and around it

A Monday night in Uluwatu centres on Savaya's Last Light, its weekly sunset set from The Cube on the Pecatu clifftop. How to plan the day around it, the door rules, and where else to go.

On a Monday night in Uluwatu, the fixed point is Savaya. Every Monday the clifftop club in Pecatu holds Last Light, a sunset set played from The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. Build the day around it: the beach or a pool in the afternoon, Savaya for the sunset and the night, and a car arranged for the way back.

Why Monday is a Savaya night

Most people picture Savaya at the weekend, when its international headliners play. Monday is its own weekly fixture instead: Last Light, the sunset set from The Cube. Savaya sits 100 metres above the Indian Ocean, between jungle and limestone cliffs, with pools around The Cube; DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it number one in Asia from 2024 to 2026 and fifth in the world in 2026. Savaya Last Light covers the night itself; this guide is about the whole Monday in Uluwatu.

A Monday in Uluwatu, step by step

  1. Afternoon by the sea. White Rock Beach Club, on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, has resident DJs every day, daybeds and cabanas around a lagoon pool and a rock pool, and a spa. El Kabron, on the Pecatu cliffs, has its Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas.
  2. Last Light at Savaya. Read the Monday's page first: each date has its own Guestlist or Table button, and a night showing only Table is ticketed only.
  3. Dinner. At Savaya, a table is the only reserved space; its minimum spend is set by the venue per night and, on Savaya's map, "Includes Food & Beverage Credit". El Kabron's Mediterranean restaurant (seafood, oysters, paella, steak) and its Sunset Theater at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners, are the other option in the catalogue.
  4. The car home. Uluwatu is spread out along the cliffs; book the ride through transport before the night.

Guestlist, ticket or table on a Monday

The rules are the same as any Savaya night; only the terms of each date change.

  • Guestlist. Every guest registers individually on the night's page and receives a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on that night's page and reduced after it. Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred.
  • Ticket. Official tickets come only through the venue's own channel and are, in Savaya's words, "primarily for standing room only".
  • Table. The only reserved space, and the only way to leave and come back: re-entry is only possible with a table.

Savaya: tickets, guestlist or table compares the three.

The door

Savaya is strictly 21+ with a valid photo ID, a passport or driving licence, and the dress code is smart casual. It is cashless, searches bags, has limited lockers and accepts no luggage or outside food or drink: leave the beach bag in the car or at the villa. More in what to bring to Savaya.

If you are not in Uluwatu

Savaya is not the only Monday on the island. Zumana, the Savaya Group beach club on Sunset Bay in Kuta, runs its Monday as part of its weekly programme, and Bali Monday night covers the island as a whole. Desa Kitsuné's garden parties in Canggu are on Tuesdays and Fridays, so Monday is not one of its regular nights.

Sunset or night?

Last Light is a sunset set, and the night carries on after it. To choose which part of the evening to be there for, read Savaya: sunset or night.
