Zumana vs Finns: which Bali beach club suits you?

Zumana is Savaya's sunset beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, with themed nights and its own guestlist. Finns is Canggu's adults-only all-day party of zones and bars. How to choose.

Updated October 21, 2026 · 4 min read

Zumana and Finns are both beachfront clubs that face the sunset, but they answer different wishes. Zumana, at Sunset Bay in Kuta, is the Savaya Group's beach club: a designed setting, a programme of named nights through the week and a guestlist run by the venue. Finns, at Berawa in Canggu, is an adults-only party that runs every day across a village of zones, pools and bars. Choose Zumana for a night with a theme and a headline feel, Finns for an all-day party you can wander through. FirstBali books both through the concierge.

The short answer

  • A night with a name and a line-up: Zumana, whose week is built around Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays, Zumana Sunday and a weeknight rotation that includes Made in Kuta.
  • A long day from lunch to evening, moving from pool to pool: Finns, with its separate party zones.
  • Staying in the south or near the airport side of the island: Zumana, in Kuta.
  • Staying in Canggu: Finns, on Berawa's beach road.
  • A free guestlist on the right night: Zumana, whose list is the venue's own and is shown on each night's page.
  • A drink at sunset without reserving a seat: Finns, which has free-entry bars.

Setting and design

Zumana was designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud. It opened in August 2026 and belongs to the same family as Savaya and Desa Kitsuné. More in the story of ZENÍA.

Finns stretches along the beach at Berawa under a bamboo structure by PBM Architecture. Rather than one space, it is a run of venues — FINNS Beach Party, FINNS Garden Party, FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party among them — each with pools, bars and its own mood.

How the week works

At Zumana, each night has a character. Ritual of the Sun is the Saturday, Zumana Sunday closes the weekend, headliners appear on set nights in the week, and Made in Kuta is part of the weeknight rotation. The coming nights, with their terms, are on the event pages.

At Finns, the formula is the same every day: resident DJs and live singers keep the party going from afternoon into evening. There is no one night to aim for; the choice is which zone to sit in.

Door, age and dress

Zumana is 21+ with a valid photo ID, and the dress code is smart casual. Re-entry is only for guests with a table. Finns is adults-only by its own terms. Both are beach clubs, so swimwear has its place by day; for Zumana's evening, dress for the night. Read the Zumana dress code and the beach club dress code.

Guestlist, tickets and tables

This is where the two differ most.

Zumana runs its own guestlist. You register individually for each night on its page and receive a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the night's page and reduced after. Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. Some nights are ticketed only. A table is the only reserved space, with a minimum spend set by the venue per night that the venue's map describes as including food and beverage credit. See the Zumana guestlist and booking a table at Zumana.

Finns works with free-entry bars, daybeds and private cabanas across its zones. Each seat has its own terms, set by the club for the day.

Whatever you choose, nothing is yours until the venue confirms it. Any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.

Food and drink

Zumana's restaurant is Manuza, with service at the daybeds and tables. Finns spreads food across several kitchens, with menus for each party zone, a Beach Party Restaurant and Monsoon. Planning dinner before Zumana instead? Read where to eat before Zumana.

Which crowd

We will not pretend to know who is on the beach on a given day. What each venue says about itself is a fair guide: Savaya Group introduced Zumana with the line "Every Generation Deserves Its Own Kuta", a sunset club with a night that follows; Finns as a party every day. If you want a club experience with the group behind Savaya, Zumana. If you want a beach day that never needs a plan, Finns.
