Pack small. At Savaya and Zumana, all bags, backpacks, purses and parcels are subject to search, and both venues list items you may not bring, from outside food and drink to tripods and drones. Savaya has lockers, but a limited number, and says it does not recommend bringing luggage or a big travel bag; a big suitcase is on its list of prohibited items.
The bag search
Both Savaya Group venues with a published FAQ use the same sentence: "for your own safety all bags, backpacks, purses or parcels are all subject to search." Expect it at the door, every night, for everyone. A small bag gets through faster and is easier to keep with you all night.
What you cannot bring
Savaya
For regular days of operation, Savaya's FAQ lists, among others: outside food and beverages, candy, toys, props, a big suitcase, inflatables, professional cameras, tripods, drones and all sharp objects. The venue adds that "this is not an exhaustive list" and that management reserves the right to refuse entry.

Lockers and luggage
Savaya confirms it has lockers, and that they are limited and allocated first come, first served. It also says it does not recommend bringing luggage or a big travel bag, though a limited luggage storage is available. In other words: do not plan your day around storage that may be gone when you arrive.
This matters most on a travel day. If you are checking out of a villa or flying out after the night, leave your luggage with your hotel or your driver rather than taking it to the club. With a car and driver, ask whether the car can wait with your bags while you are inside; the concierge checks what can be arranged — see a driver for your night out.
What to bring instead
- A small bag or a zipped pocket — enough for a phone, a card and your ID.
- Your original photo ID: the venues are 21+. See passport or copy at Bali clubs.
- A card, since Savaya is cashless and Zumana takes only card and QRIS. See cashless clubs in Bali.
- Your phone, charged, with the night's digital guestlist ticket if you registered.
- Phone photos are fine; a professional camera is not.

Day to night: the beach-club problem
The bag question is sharpest when a day turns into a night. A day at a beach club means a towel, a change of clothes, sun cream and a swimsuit; a club night means a phone, a card and an ID. If you plan both on the same day, sort the bags before you leave: one small bag for the evening, the rest left at the villa or in the car. At Zumana, a beach club at Sunset Bay, the prohibited list still applies from the first hour — outside food and drink stay outside, whatever the time of day.
Groups make it harder. Ten guests with ten tote bags mean ten searches and ten things to keep an eye on. Agree on a light rule before you go — small bags only — and the door becomes quick for everyone.
A table changes the evening, not the rules
A table gives you a reserved space for the night and somewhere to come back to, but it does not lift the bag search or the prohibited-items list. At Savaya and Zumana, re-entry is only possible with a table. FirstBali books tables with the venue on your behalf; the table is yours once the venue confirms it.
How FirstBali helps
Ask the concierge before the night: an assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening. We check what the venue allows when your plans are unusual — a birthday prop, an arrival straight from the airport — and arrange the car to the club.
