For a beach club in Kuta, the address is Zumana, on the beachfront at Sunset Bay Kuta on Jl. Kartika Plaza. It is a Savaya Group property — the group behind Savaya in Uluwatu and Desa Kitsuné in Canggu — opened in August 2026, with daybeds, pools, bars and an open-air dance floor facing the sunset. It is open daily, strictly 21+, smart casual, and card or QRIS only. FirstBali books tables there and sends you the guestlist link when a night has one.

Why Kuta, for a beach club

Kuta was one of the first towns on Bali to see substantial tourism. Its long sandy beach lies on the western side of the peninsula — it is also known as Sunset Beach — and it is known for its surf. It is also the area closest to the airport, which is why so many visitors spend their first or last night here.

Zumana sits on that shoreline, and Savaya Group presented it as a way of honouring "the spirit and energy that made Kuta iconic". The background of the area is in the Kuta nightlife guide.

Zumana in brief

  • Where. The beachfront at Sunset Bay Kuta, Jl. Kartika Plaza.
  • What. A beach club designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor, with a restaurant, Manuza.
  • Its landmark. ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper — see ZENÍA at Zumana.
  • Who. Adults only: the door is 21+, with photo ID.
  • The mood. Zumana describes its day in three movements: the shore waking slowly, the sunset "this is the moment ZUMANA was built for", then the night, when "the music rises".

The full profile is in our Zumana guide.

What is on, day by day

Zumana is open every day, and the week has a fixed shape:

  • Sunday, Monday and Tuesday — the regular days, starting in the afternoon: the easy way to spend a day by the water and stay for the sunset.
  • Wednesday and Friday — headliner nights, built around a headline artist, with terms that change night by night. See Zumana's headliner nights.
  • Thursday — a rotating night, among them Made in Kuta, which brings together local talent, music, food and culture.
  • Saturday — Ritual of the Sun, the weekly sunset night.

The calendar above shows the coming dates, each with its own terms.

Getting in: guestlist, ticket or table

  • Guestlist. On nights with a list, each person registers individually on the night's page and receives a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on that page and reduced after. Registration does not guarantee entry, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. See the Zumana guestlist.
  • Ticket. Some nights are ticketed only; official tickets are sold only through Zumana's own channel, and they are essentially standing.
  • Table. A daybed, a sofa or a cabana for the night, with a minimum spend that Zumana sets per night. It is the only reserved space, and the only way to step out and come back. See booking a table at Zumana.

Before you go

  • Bring the original of a valid passport or driver's licence, and a card or QRIS: Zumana takes no cash.
  • Wear smart casual: no beer-branded singlets, cut-off clothing, athletic sportswear or flip-flops; swimwear in the pools only. See the Zumana dress code.
  • Leave behind outside food and drink, props, inflatables, professional cameras, tripods and drones; every bag is searched.
  • Park or drop off as the venue advises: the closest parking is at Discovery Mall, and app drop-offs are across from Waterbom Bali. See how to get to Zumana.

If you want another beach club nearby

Kuta's neighbours have their own: Seminyak, Berawa and Canggu to the north, and the Uluwatu clifftops to the south. Our comparisons are in the best beach clubs in Bali, and for a night that goes on after the beach, Savaya is Zumana's sister venue on the Uluwatu cliffs.
