Kuta group night: one address at Zumana, then beyond

Planning a Kuta night for a group: the afternoon, dinner at Manuza and the dance floor all at Zumana on Sunset Bay, the right day of the week, and where to go next in Jimbaran or Seminyak.

Updated November 8, 2026 · 4 min read

For a group in Kuta, the easiest night out stays at one address: Zumana, the Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay, where the daybeds, the pools, dinner at Manuza and the open-air dance floor share the same site. Choose the day for the programme you want, book a table so the group has a base, and keep one vehicle for arrival and the ride home.

Why one address suits a group in Kuta

The hardest part of a group night is the move between venues: someone is late, someone takes another car, and the group reaches the next door in pieces. Zumana removes most of those moves. It was designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor, with its restaurant, Manuza, on the same site, and ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, at its centre. A group can arrive for the afternoon and leave after the last set without changing venue. The afternoon-to-night timeline is in Kuta day to night.

Choose the day for the group

Zumana is open daily, and its week has a published shape:

  • Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, the regular days;
  • Headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays;
  • Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays, the weekly sunset night;
  • A weeknight rotation that includes "Made in Kuta".

For a group that wants a relaxed afternoon into the evening, a regular day works; for a group that wants the biggest night, a headliner night does, with the caveat that some nights are ticketed only. Each night's terms are on its page on /events. See also Zumana's weekly nights.

A table as the group's base

A table is the only reserved space at Zumana, and re-entry is only with a table. Its minimum spend is set by the venue per night, and the venue's table maps state that it includes food and beverage credit. FirstBali books it with the venue on your behalf; it is the group's once Zumana confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.

On a guestlist instead, each guest registers individually on the night's page and receives a digital ticket by email; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on that page and reduced after. Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred, and registration does not guarantee entry. The group-specific detail of Zumana's door, from re-entry to the items to leave at the villa, is in Zumana for a group.

Dinner without leaving

Manuza is Zumana's restaurant, so a group dinner needs no transfer. Tell the concierge you want dinner and a table on the same night, and we ask the venue how both can fit together. For more on the meal itself, see dinner before Zumana.

Everyone, every rule

  • 21+ for every guest, with a valid passport or driver's licence.
  • Smart casual for every outfit; see the Zumana dress code.
  • Arrive together. A scattered group is harder at any door.

Where a Kuta group can go next

Some groups want a second stop, or a different evening on another night of the trip. Three options from our catalogue:

  • Rock Bar, Jimbaran. AYANA Bali's cliffside bar along the rocks above the ocean, reached by inclinator, where guests watch the sun set over the sea and stay as the DJs play on. Non-resident visitors can reserve; payment is by card or QR only.
  • Les Toilettes, Seminyak. The K-Club Group's nightclub on Jalan Petitenget, at the same address as Sardine, its seafood restaurant: 21+, at the door's discretion, smart dress.
  • Savaya, Uluwatu. The Savaya Group's clifftop club in Pecatu, with international headliners at weekends and Last Light on Mondays.

Moving the group

FirstBali arranges cars and vans with a driver, so the group is dropped together and collected together at the end of the night. A second stop is only easy if the driver is booked for it from the start. See vans and private drivers and how to get to Zumana.

How FirstBali arranges it

Tell the concierge the day, how many you are, the occasion and whether you want a second stop. We book the table with Zumana, ask about dinner at Manuza, send the guestlist page to anyone who prefers it, and organise the vehicle. We tell you once the venue has confirmed, never before. An assistant answers at any hour, and the team works through the Bali day and evening.
