Kuta day to night: from daybed to dance floor at Zumana

A Kuta day to night at one address: an afternoon on a Zumana daybed at Sunset Bay, the sunset, dinner at Manuza, then the open-air dance floor. Which day to pick and what to book.

Updated November 8, 2026 · 4 min read

A Kuta day to night can happen at a single address: Zumana, the Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay, open daily. Spend the afternoon on a daybed or by the pool, watch the sunset, have dinner at Manuza, its restaurant, then stay for the open-air dance floor. The one thing to settle before you go is whether you will leave and come back, because at Zumana re-entry is only possible with a table.

Why one address is enough

Zumana was designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud. It opened in August 2026 and is the Kuta venue in FirstBali's catalogue. A full day there needs no second destination: the beach, the meal and the night share one site.

Afternoon: a daybed or a place by the pool

The afternoon is about holding a spot. A daybed on the beachfront or a place by the pool is what you reserve; the terms are set by Zumana for each day, and a booking is yours once the venue confirms it. Daybeds at Zumana explains how they work, and the beach club etiquette covers the unwritten rules.

Zumana is 21+ with a valid photo ID, and the dress code is smart casual. Bring a change of clothes for the evening if your afternoon outfit is beachwear.

Sunset

At Sunset Bay, the sunset is the hinge between day and night. On Saturdays it has its own name: Ritual of the Sun, Zumana's weekly sunset night, which carries on after dark. See Ritual of the Sun and, for where else to watch it in the area, Kuta sunset.

Dinner at Manuza

Manuza is Zumana's restaurant. When we last read its page, the venue had not published a cuisine, a chef or a menu, so we do not describe them; Manuza at Zumana tracks what is known. A table at Manuza is a restaurant booking: it does not put you on the club's list or hold a place on the dance floor.

Night: which day, which night

Zumana's week has a shape, according to the venue, and it decides what your evening becomes:

  1. Wednesday and Friday: headliners. Some of these nights are ticketed only; read the night's page first.
  2. Saturday: Ritual of the Sun, from the sunset into the night.
  3. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, every week.
  4. Made in Kuta, the venue's monthly Thursday celebration. See Made in Kuta.

The real calendar, night by night:

Staying all day, or coming back

This is the practical choice of a Kuta day to night.

  • Staying from the afternoon to the end. Simplest: no second arrival. Check with the concierge how the day booking and the night's terms fit together on your date, since terms are set per night.
  • Leaving and coming back. Without a table, you come back as a new arrival: registered on the night's guestlist when one is open, with a ticket on ticketed-only nights. Registration is free and individual, each guest gets a digital ticket by email, and entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the night's page, reduced after. Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry: management decides, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred.
  • With a club table, re-entry is possible. The table's minimum spend is set by Zumana per night and, on Zumana's map, includes food and beverage credit. See booking a table at Zumana.

Three things to bring

  1. A passport or driver's licence, for the 21+ door.
  2. A smart casual change, for dinner and the dance floor. See the Zumana dress code.
  3. A plan for the ride home, with one driver for the day or a driver for the night.

How FirstBali helps

Tell the concierge the day, the group and how long you want to stay. We ask Zumana about a daybed, a Manuza table or a club table; each booking is yours only once the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms. Guestlists are Zumana's own, linked from /events. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.

Questions we get asked

+Can I spend a whole day and night at Zumana?

Zumana is open daily, with daybeds, poolside spaces, its restaurant Manuza and an open-air dance floor. Ask the concierge how the day booking and the night's terms fit on your date.

+Can I leave Zumana and come back?

Re-entry is only possible with a table. Otherwise you come back as a new arrival, on the night's guestlist or with a ticket.

+Which day is best for a Kuta day to night?

Saturday for Ritual of the Sun, Wednesday or Friday for headliners. The calendar on /events shows each night.

+Does a Manuza dinner get me onto the dance floor?

No. It is a restaurant booking; the night needs a guestlist registration, a ticket or a club table.

+Is Zumana 21+?

Zumana is 21+ with a valid photo ID, such as a passport or a driver's licence.

+Can FirstBali book the daybed and the table?

We ask Zumana for both; each booking is yours only once the venue confirms it.

Want us to arrange it?

Tell the concierge what you have in mind — a table, a guestlist, a villa, a driver. The assistant answers at any hour; the team takes over from 9am to midnight Bali time.
