Zumana for a group: guestlist, tables and transport
A group at Zumana works best with a table: one reserved space, re-entry allowed, and an option on ticketed nights. On a guestlist, each person registers; mixed groups are preferred.

A group night at Zumana works best around a table: it is the only reserved space at the beach club, the one way to step out and come back, and the option that still exists on ticketed-only nights. A group can also come on the guestlist, but each person registers individually, entry is decided at the door, and Zumana says plainly that mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. FirstBali books the table with Zumana and can move the whole group there and back.

How the door sees a group
Zumana is a Savaya Group beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, and its terms are the group's terms. Three of them shape a group night:
- Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. A group of friends of one gender is not banned, but it is the case the door looks at hardest.
- Registration does not guarantee entry. Management can refuse entry, limit capacity or close an event, whatever the list says.
- Everyone is 21 or over, with the original of a valid passport or driver's licence. One member without ID is one member left outside.
The practical rule follows: arrive together, everyone dressed for the venue, everyone with their ID.
Guestlist or table for a group
On the guestlist, there is no group booking. Each person registers individually on the night's page and receives their own digital ticket by email; entry is complimentary only before the cutoff shown on that page, and reduced after. Send the link to the group early, and check that everyone has registered before you leave. Guestlist entry is standing: general admission seating is limited and first come, first served, so a group will not necessarily find a place to sit together. The Zumana guestlist has the detail.
With a table, the group has a base. On the table maps Zumana publishes per night, the spaces are named after where they sit — Ocean Edge and Dance Floor daybeds and sofas, Main Deck sofas, and Cabanas — and some nights have VIP spaces priced on request. A table also brings two things a group values:
- Re-entry. In Zumana's words: "Re-entry is not permitted at Zumana Bali unless a table reservation has been purchased." With a table, see a guest experience officer before stepping out.
- A way in on ticketed nights. Some headliner nights have no list at all; a table is then the alternative to buying individual tickets from Zumana's own channel.
Each table carries a minimum spend set by Zumana for that night, and a specific spot can carry an extra charge. FirstBali asks Zumana, comes back with what the venue confirms, and the table is the group's once Zumana has confirmed it. Any deposit follows Zumana's terms and is not a confirmation. The full mechanics are in booking a table at Zumana.
Choosing the night for a group
- A regular day — Zumana Sunday, Monday or Tuesday — for an easy afternoon into the sunset, with the most choice of space.
- Saturday for Ritual of the Sun, the weekly sunset night.
- Wednesday or Friday for a headline artist: the busiest nights, where tables sell out and some nights are ticketed only. Ask early.
The programme day by day is in Zumana's weekly nights.
Stag, hen and birthday groups
Zumana's list of prohibited items is the list a celebrating group trips over: candy, toys, props and inflatables are not allowed in, and neither are outside food and drink, professional cameras, tripods, drones or sharp objects. All bags are searched. The sash and the inflatable stay at the villa.
Dress is smart casual for everyone — no beer-branded singlets, cut-off clothing, athletic sportswear or flip-flops, and swimwear in the pools only. Matching outfits are fine as long as they follow the Zumana dress code. For a celebration, tell the concierge when you book: FirstBali asks Zumana what can be arranged at the table. Ideas for the wider trip are in the Bali bachelor party guide and the Bali hens party guide.
Moving the group
A group that arrives together gets in together. FirstBali arranges cars with a driver, among them a Toyota Hiace Premio for a larger group and a Toyota Alphard for a smaller one, so that the group is dropped together and collected together at the end of the night. Zumana's closest parking is at Discovery Mall, and the drop-off point is across the street from Waterbom Bali; how to get to Zumana has the walk in. See also a van with a driver in Bali.
How FirstBali books a group night
- Tell the concierge the date, how many you are, and the make-up of the group.
- FirstBali sends the guestlist link for that night when it has one, or asks Zumana for a table that fits the group.
- You get what Zumana confirms; the table is yours once it is confirmed.
- FirstBali adds the transport if you want it.

Questions we get asked
+Can a big group get into Zumana?
Yes, but entry is decided at the door and Zumana says mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. A table is the surest base for a group: it is the only reserved space.
+Can one person register a whole group on Zumana's guestlist?
No. Each person registers individually on the night's page and receives their own digital ticket by email.
+Is a group of only men allowed at Zumana?
It is not banned, but Zumana's terms say mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred, and management decides entry. A table booking gives the group a confirmed place.
+Can our group leave Zumana and come back?
Only with a table. Re-entry is not permitted without a table reservation; table guests should see a guest experience officer before stepping out.
+Can we bring props for a hen or stag party to Zumana?
No. Zumana does not allow candy, toys, props or inflatables, and every bag is searched.
+Can FirstBali drive our group to Zumana?
Yes. FirstBali arranges cars with a driver, including a Toyota Hiace Premio or a Toyota Alphard, for the way there and back. Tell the concierge your date and numbers.
