Nusa Dua nightlife: evenings in the resort area and beyond

Nusa Dua nightlife is about long dinners, ocean-view lounges and beach Sundays with a DJ. For a real club night, Savaya and Zumana are a drive away. How to plan both.

Updated October 26, 2026 · 4 min read

Nusa Dua's nightlife is quiet by design: an evening here means a long dinner by the sea, a cocktail in a hotel lounge and, on Sundays, a beach gathering with a DJ. There is no club strip. For a real night out, guests based in Nusa Dua take a driver to Savaya on the Uluwatu clifftop or Zumana at Sunset Bay in Kuta.

Why Nusa Dua is quiet after dark

Nusa Dua is a planned resort area. ITDC, the state company behind it, describes The Nusa Dua as having "international-standard infrastructure, accommodation, and meeting facilities" and "many luxury hotels within the area". It has hosted official international gatherings such as APEC and the IMF-World Bank Group Annual Meetings. That shapes the evenings: most of the life after dark happens inside the resorts and at a few beachfront addresses, not on a street of bars.

If you chose Nusa Dua for calm water and a resort, that is a feature. If you came for clubs, plan the nights elsewhere and keep Nusa Dua for the mornings. Our Nusa Dua area guide covers the days.

Evenings inside the area

Le Bleu, on the beach

Le Bleu by K Club is a beachfront restaurant and beach club on Nusa Dua Beach, in the ITDC area, all blue and white in a French Riviera mood. Its weekly programme mixes yoga, cocktail workshops and beach games with festive Sunday gatherings with a DJ. That Sunday is the closest Nusa Dua comes to a party on the sand, and the seafood kitchen makes it an easy dinner the other nights.

The Apurva Kempinski, on the cliffs

The Apurva Kempinski spreads its evenings across several venues. L'Atelier by Cyril Kongo is a lounge with ocean views and Mediterranean tapas, the natural place for a drink after dinner. Koral, which the hotel presents as Bali's first aquarium restaurant, serves set and tasting menus beside the tanks and is adults only at dinner. Izakaya by OKU and Bai Yun cover Japanese and Chinese evenings.

When you want a club night

The partner clubs are where Nusa Dua guests go for the big nights:

  • Savaya sits on the Uluwatu clifftop in Pecatu, with pools and The Cube framing the horizon. DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it number one in Asia three years running and fifth in the world, as Savaya reports. Mondays are Last Light, a sunset set from The Cube; weekends bring headliners; Sundays are People of the Sun.
  • Zumana is a Savaya Group beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, built around daybeds, pools and an open-air dance floor. Saturdays are Ritual of the Sun, Sundays are Zumana Sunday, and weeknights rotate, including Made in Kuta.

Both are 21+ with a valid photo ID, a passport or a driver's licence. Guestlists are the venues' own: you register for each night on its page, linked from the Guestlist button on the events calendar, and receive a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the night's page and reduced after, and registration does not guarantee entry. Some nights are ticketed only. Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred at both.

Desa Kitsuné in Canggu, with garden parties on Tuesdays and Fridays, is further from Nusa Dua: worth it on a night you are already on that side of the island.

How to plan the night

  1. Pick the night on [/events](/events), then read its page: list, ticket or table.
  2. Book the car. A driver who waits makes the return simple; see a driver for a night out and transport.
  3. Dinner first, or at the club. Savaya and Zumana both serve food; our Savaya dinner guide covers the order of the evening.
  4. A table if you want a reserved space. It is the only reserved space at either club; its minimum spend is set by the venue per night and the map shows it includes food and beverage credit. FirstBali books it with the venue, and it is yours once the venue confirms. Any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.

At Savaya and Zumana, re-entry is only with a table. Savaya is cashless, searches bags, has limited lockers and accepts no luggage.

How FirstBali helps

Tell the concierge where you are staying, the night you want and the size of the group. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening, and checks what can be arranged: the dinner, the table request, the car. Nothing is confirmed until the venue confirms it.
