Savaya headliner nights: planning a big DJ night

Savaya's international headliners mostly play at weekends. Each night sets its own terms, so plan from the announcement: the way in, a table early if you want one, and the ride home.

Savaya's headliner nights are mostly its weekends, when the Uluwatu clifftop club brings in international artists. Each of those nights sets its own terms: some carry a free guestlist, others are ticketed only, with official tickets sold only through Savaya's own channel, and on every one a table is the only reserved space. The way to get it right is to plan from the day the night is announced, not the evening before.

Why headliner nights are different

Savaya sits on the Pecatu clifftop, above the Indian Ocean, with The Cube framing the horizon. DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it number one in Asia three years running (2024–2026) and number five in the world in 2026, according to DJ Mag and Savaya. On an ordinary weekday the club is relaxed; on a headliner night, it is the reason many people are in Bali that week. That changes three things: the terms of entry, how fast the tables go, and how hard the way home is.

We do not name artists or dates here. Line-ups change, and the right source is the night itself: every coming Savaya night is in the calendar above, with its flyer and its terms. The shape of the rest of the week is in Savaya at the weekend and Savaya on a weekday.

From announcement to the night

  1. Read the night's page as soon as it appears. It says whether the night has a guestlist, is ticketed only, or both. Do not assume from a previous weekend.
  2. Choose your way in. Guestlist, official ticket or table — see below. A group that wants to sit together decides on a table now, not later.
  3. Ask for the table early. Savaya's table map for the night marks areas as they sell out. The earlier the request, the more choice of area.
  4. Read the page again close to the date. Terms can change after an announcement: a ticketed-only night can open a list later.
  5. Plan the return before you leave. On a big night, the crowd leaves at once and the clifftop roads are busy.

The three ways in on a headliner night

The guestlist, when the night has one

Savaya's guestlist is the venue's own. Each guest registers individually on the night's page and receives a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the night's page and reduced after it. Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry: management decides, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. The steps are in the Savaya guestlist.

An official ticket

Some headliner nights are ticketed only: there is no list to join. Official tickets come only through Savaya's own ticketing channel, linked from the night's flyer; a ticket bought anywhere else can be refused at the door. Savaya says its tickets are "primarily for standing room only". Savaya: ticket, guestlist or table compares the three.

A table

A table is the only reserved space, and on a headliner night it is the only seat you can count on. Its minimum spend is set by Savaya for that night, and the venue's map says it includes food and beverage credit. A table is also the only way to leave and come back in. It is yours once Savaya confirms it; any deposit follows Savaya's terms and is not a confirmation. Areas and how they differ are in booking a table at Savaya.

At the door on a big night

  • 21+, strictly, with a valid passport or driver's licence — the original.
  • Cashless: bring a card.
  • Bags are searched, lockers are limited, and luggage is not accepted. No outside food or drink.
  • Smart casual: see the Savaya dress code.

Arrive in time for the guestlist cutoff if you are on the list: after it, entry is no longer complimentary. And keep in mind that the door has the last word, whatever the booking.

Getting home

Headliner nights end with everyone leaving together. Booking a driver who waits for you is simpler than finding a ride on the clifftop at the end of the night; getting to Savaya covers the drop-off and the return, and a driver for a night out explains how it works.

A headliner night through FirstBali

Tell the concierge which night you want and how many you are. FirstBali sends you the guestlist link when the night has one, points you to Savaya's official tickets when it is ticketed only, or asks Savaya for a table and comes back with what the venue confirms. Nothing is confirmed until Savaya confirms it. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening, and it can add a car with a driver.

Questions we get asked

+When are the headliner nights at Savaya?

Mostly at weekends, when Savaya brings in international artists. Each coming night, with its artist and terms, is on its own page in the calendar.

+Is there a guestlist on Savaya headliner nights?

It depends on the night: some have one, others are ticketed only, and a night can open a list after it is announced. The night's page shows which.

+Where do I buy official tickets for a Savaya headliner?

Only through Savaya's own ticketing channel, linked from the night's flyer. Tickets from any other source can be refused at the door.

+How early should I book a table for a Savaya headliner night?

As soon as the night is announced if you can. The venue's map marks areas as they sell out, so an early request leaves more choice.

+Can I leave Savaya and come back on a headliner night?

Only with a table. Re-entry at Savaya is for table guests.
