Savaya private events: can you hire the club?

Savaya publishes no private-hire or buyout offer: a private celebration there is built on VIP tables for a chosen night. What that gives a group, and what FirstBali can ask Savaya for.

Savaya does not publish a private-hire or buyout offer. Its website lists the event calendar, tickets, a VIP table form and a contact page, with no mention of private events or weddings. A private celebration at Savaya is therefore built on VIP tables for a night you choose, with a minimum spend the venue sets for that night. Anything beyond that, FirstBali asks Savaya on your behalf through the concierge; nothing is promised until the venue answers.

What "private" means at Savaya

Savaya is a clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, with pools and The Cube framing the horizon, and DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs has named it the number-one club in Asia. It runs its own programme every night of the week. That is the reason there is no off-the-shelf hire: the club is the party, and a group joins it.

The private part is the table. A VIP table is the only reserved space in the club, booked for one night: your group's own area, seating and service, with the minimum spend counted as food and drink credit. It is also the only way to leave and come back in during the night.

Choosing the night for a private occasion

The night shapes the celebration more than anything you can add to it.

  • Monday, Last Light. A sunset set from The Cube, which suits a celebration that wants the light and the view. See Last Light at Savaya.
  • A weeknight. The calmer side of the weekly programme, often easier for a larger table. See Savaya on a weekday.
  • A weekend. International headliners, the fullest nights, and the ones where table areas sell out first.
  • Sunday. People of the Sun, Savaya's Sunday.

Each night's Table button opens the venue's own table map when one is published: the areas, their minimum party size and their status for that date.

Kinds of private occasion, and how they fit

  • A birthday or milestone: one table for the core group, sized to the night's map. The Savaya birthday guide covers the detail.
  • A wedding party or welcome night: guests arrive from several hotels; book the table under one name and send everyone the checklist below.
  • A family or friends' reunion: choose a weeknight or Last Light if not everyone wants a headliner crowd.
  • A larger group than one area holds: more than one table, or a request to Savaya for something bigger. That is a question, not a booking, and the answer is Savaya's.

What can be asked, and what cannot be assumed

A cake, a bottle presentation, a message, a reserved arrival: none of these is a service Savaya publishes, and none is promised here. Tell the concierge what you have in mind and we ask the venue. What can never be arranged around Savaya's own rules: guests under 21, luggage, outside food or drink, or cash payments. The club is cashless and bags are searched.

If you need a venue of your own

When a group truly needs a place to itself, with its own music and timing, look at venues that publish a private hire. Desa Kitsuné, also a Savaya Group venue, offers its whole Canggu village or The Garden alone for private events; White Rock Beach Club in Uluwatu states that it hosts weddings and events. Choosing a private event venue in Bali compares them.

The checklist for every guest

  • 21+, valid photo ID: passport or driver's licence, for everyone.
  • Smart casual: see the Savaya dress code.
  • A small bag only, no luggage; limited lockers.
  • A card or phone to pay: Savaya is cashless.
  • The door decides. Savaya states that mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred; a confirmed table is the dependable way in together.

How FirstBali arranges it

Tell the concierge the occasion, the date or dates, roughly how many guests and anything you would like asked for. We book the tables with Savaya on your behalf and pass on any wider request; we never share the venue's contact details. Tables are yours once Savaya confirms them; any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not in itself a confirmation. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.

Questions we get asked

Savaya publishes no private-hire or buyout offer. A private celebration is built on VIP tables for a chosen night; anything more, the concierge asks Savaya.

A reserved area for the night, with a minimum spend set by the venue that counts as food and drink credit, and the right to re-enter.
