Zumana and Luna are both beach clubs, but on different stretches of the coast and with a different idea of the day. Zumana is at Sunset Bay in Kuta, a Savaya Group property designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor, with headliner nights every week. Luna Beach Club is perched on the cliffs of the Tabanan coast, inside Nuanu Creative City by Nyanyi Beach, with two pools, jumping platforms, a water slide and a cave club. Luna Beach Club is perched on the cliffs of the Tabanan coast, inside Nuanu Creative City by Nyanyi Beach, west of Canggu. Its bamboo architecture by Inspiral Architects won a Silver award for sustainable and green architecture at the 2024 International Architecture & Design Awards. The complex brings together two pools, jumping platforms and a water slide, Restaurant 369, the Utopia Cave Club and the Gardenia bamboo tree pods. DJs play through sunset, and evenings bring fire and light shows.

The setting

Luna is up on the cliffs west of Canggu, in bamboo architecture by Inspiral Architects, which won a Silver award for sustainable and green architecture at the International Architecture & Design Awards. The rhythm of the week

Zumana is open daily, with a set weekly shape: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, and Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays, with a weeknight rotation that includes Made in Kuta. See Zumana's weekly nights and check each night's page on the events page.

Luna builds its day around sunset: DJs through it, then fire and light shows in the evening. Its programme is its own, and the concierge checks it for your date.

Getting in

Zumana is 21+ with a valid photo ID, passport or driver's licence, and the dress code is smart casual. Many nights have a guestlist run by the venue itself: each guest registers on the night's page, joining is free, and entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown there, reduced after. Reserved space

At Zumana, a table is the only reserved space. The venue sets its minimum spend per night, and its table map notes that it includes food and beverage credit. Food

Zumana has Manuza, its own restaurant, so a meal and the night share one address — see Manuza at Zumana. Luna has its restaurant within the complex, so the day can stay on the clifftop from lunch to the evening shows.
