Wellness and nightlife in Bali: slow days, big nights

A Bali trip that alternates calm days and party nights: training at Reload Sanctuary, a spa at the Regent or White Rock, and nights at Desa Kitsuné, Zumana and Savaya, arranged by FirstBali.

Updated November 8, 2026 · 4 min read

A Bali trip can mix wellness and nightlife if the week alternates them: a calm day at a spa or a training club, then a night at one of the three partner clubs, then another slow day. In Canggu, Reload Sanctuary and the Regent Spa & Wellness sit near Desa Kitsuné's garden parties; near Uluwatu, White Rock Beach Club's spa pairs with a night at Savaya; Zumana in Kuta sits between the two. FirstBali books the tables and the drivers; nothing is confirmed until the venue confirms it.

This guide is about planning, not health: it makes no claim about what any treatment or facility does for you. For anything medical, ask a professional; in an emergency in Bali, call 112.

The principle: one big night, one slow day

A trip with a party every night leaves no room for anything else, and a wellness retreat has no room for a dance floor. Alternating the two keeps both. Pick the nights first, from the clubs' weekly programmes, then place a calm day after each one.

Canggu: a garden party and a slow morning

The nights

Every Tuesday and Friday, Desa Kitsuné's garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Ina Ré, in the same village, serves dinner first. The garden's pool is decorative, not for swimming. See the Desa Kitsuné guide.

The days

  • Reload Sanctuary. A training club on Jalan Canggu Padang Linjong, in a building by architect Andra Matin, with open-air training floors, a strength and conditioning gym, classes from boxing to Pilates and yoga, and what the club calls a recovery area, with sauna, steam room, ice baths, cold plunge and pool. Reload Kitchen serves on site. Adults only (18+). Passes are covered in a gym day pass in Bali.
  • Regent Spa & Wellness. At Regent Bali Canggu, IHG's beachfront resort on Batu Bolong and the first Regent in Indonesia, home to the first Regent Spa & Wellness. Lunch at The Beach House by the pool fits the same afternoon. See a Bali spa day.

A Wednesday at Reload after a Tuesday in the garden, or a Saturday at the Regent after a Friday night, keeps the whole week in one area.

Uluwatu: the clifftop night and a day by the sea

The night

Savaya stands on the Pecatu clifftop, 100 metres above the Indian Ocean, with The Cube framing the horizon. Savaya reports that DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it number one in Asia from 2024 to 2026 and fifth in the world in 2026. Monday is Last Light, the sunset set from The Cube, which makes an early-evening shape possible; weekends bring headliners; Sunday is People of the Sun. See sunset or night at Savaya.

The day

White Rock Beach Club, on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, has a spa beside its lagoon pool and rock pool, with daybeds, sofas and cabanas to rest on afterwards. It also has resident DJs every day and foam parties at weekends, so a weekday suits a quiet visit better.

Kuta: Zumana between the two

Zumana, the Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay, runs Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, and Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. Its daybeds and poolside spaces make a slow afternoon that can turn into the night, or end at sunset, as you choose. See a daybed at Zumana.

A sample week

  1. Arrival. A light dinner and an early night: your first night in Bali.
  2. Monday. Last Light at Savaya.
  3. Tuesday. A slow weekday at White Rock's spa and pools.
  4. Wednesday. Training or a class at Reload Sanctuary.
  5. Friday. Desa Kitsuné's garden party or Zumana's headliner night.
  6. Saturday. The Regent Spa & Wellness and lunch by the sea.
  7. Sunday. People of the Sun at Savaya or Zumana Sunday, then the flight home.

Each night is chosen from the venues' published weekly programmes; check the events page for the night itself, as terms change per night.

Practical points

  • Tables. At the three clubs a table is the only reserved space, with a minimum spend set by the venue per night; the table is yours once the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms without being a confirmation.
  • Entry. All three are 21+ with a valid passport or driver's licence; mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred.
  • Drinking is optional. Nothing in the clubs' terms requires it: see sober nightlife in Bali.
  • Getting around. A driver between the spa, the villa and the club keeps the day calm: a driver for a night out.
