Desa Kitsuné daybed: choosing your spot in the Garden
The Garden at Desa Kitsuné holds daybeds, cabanas, bungalows, terrace tables and sofas by the DJ. How to choose between them for a Tuesday or Friday party, and how FirstBali books one with the venue.

Yes, you can book a daybed at Desa Kitsuné. The Garden, the space in Canggu that becomes the party every Tuesday and Friday, holds daybeds alongside cabanas, bungalows, terrace tables and sofas by the DJ. Each is booked as a table: a reserved spot for one night, with a minimum spend set by the venue for that night, and yours once Desa Kitsuné has confirmed it. FirstBali asks the venue and books it on your behalf.

What the Garden holds
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné, set in a garden of 5,000 m² with Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique. On its private-events page, the venue lists what the Garden itself holds: bars, cabanas, bungalows, daybeds, terrace tables, DJ sofas, backstage sofas and a pool.
The pool is decorative only: it is not for swimming, and a daybed beside it is a place to sit, not a sunbed. Bring nothing for a swim, and leave swimwear at home — the door refuses it.
Which of these spaces are sold on a given night, and on what terms, is what that night's table map shows. The furniture is the garden's; the offer is the night's.
Daybed, cabana, bungalow or sofa
The venue publishes no comparison, so this is a guide to asking, not a promise:
- A daybed suits a couple or a small group who want to sit low, side by side, and keep an eye on the dance floor.
- A cabana or a bungalow gives a group a defined space of its own, and some cover. Worth asking about in the wet season, since the parties go ahead rain or shine.
- A terrace table suits a group that wants to sit up, talk and eat or drink around one table.
- A sofa by the DJ puts you closest to the music, for a group that came to dance.
Tell the concierge which of these you are hoping for and how many you are; FirstBali asks the venue what is open for your date and comes back with its answer.
How the booking works
- Pick the night from the calendar above: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays, and one-off nights now and then. Tuesday or Friday sets out the difference.
- Open the Table button on the night's flyer. It opens the venue group's own table map for that date, when one has been published.
- Tell the concierge the date, the group, the kind of spot and whether you want dinner at Ina Ré first.
- FirstBali books with Desa Kitsuné. The minimum spend is the one the venue sets for that night; we publish no figure of our own.
- Wait for the venue's confirmation. The daybed is yours once Desa Kitsuné confirms it. If the venue asks for a deposit, it follows the venue's terms, and paying it is not a confirmation.
The general steps for any garden table are in Desa Kitsuné table booking.
Daybed or guestlist
- The guestlist gets you in. It is free to join; each guest registers individually for that night on its page and gets a digital ticket by email. Entry is complimentary before the night's cutoff, which comes earlier for men than for women, and reduced after it. It reserves no seat.
- A daybed gives you a place of your own for the night. On ticketed-only nights, when there is no list, a table is the alternative to a ticket; a general admission ticket, in the venue's words, is "for standing room only".
The list itself is explained in the Desa Kitsuné guestlist guide.
Dinner first, on the same grounds
Ina Ré, the village's restaurant, serves dinner every day: Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food, with paellas to share, ceviches and wood-fired meats. A dinner booking is separate from the daybed and from the guestlist, so book both. On Tuesday and Friday event days, Ina Ré admits guests aged 18 and over, according to its own FAQ. See dinner before Desa Kitsuné.
Ina Ré
Restaurants · Canggu
Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.
Desa Kitsuné
Clubs · Canggu
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu — desa means village — set in a 5,000 m² garden by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds, and every Tuesday and Friday the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Parties are 21+, smart casual.
For a celebration
A daybed is the simplest base for a birthday, a hen party or a night for two. Anything beyond the booking itself — a cake, a decoration, a bottle presented at the table — is something the concierge checks with the venue, and nothing is promised until Desa Kitsuné confirms it. The door, with a daybed
A booking does not change the door. Every guest is 21+ with a current, valid passport or driver's licence; the dress code is smart casual, with flip-flops, sportswear and swimwear refused — see the Desa Kitsuné dress code. Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred, and management keeps the right to refuse entry.
Where FirstBali fits
FirstBali books the daybed with Desa Kitsuné, the dinner at Ina Ré if you want it, and a car with a driver there and back. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.
For daybeds by the sea, Zumana in Kuta is laid out around beachfront daybeds, and Savaya's maps on the Uluwatu clifftop list daybeds too.
