Uluwatu cocktail bars: where to drink on the cliffs
FirstBali lists no stand-alone cocktail bar in Uluwatu. Drinks there happen on the cliffs: El Kabron's lounge, Savaya's Last Light, White Rock, and Rock Bar in nearby Jimbaran.

Searching for cocktail bars in Uluwatu? FirstBali's catalogue has no stand-alone cocktail bar in Uluwatu, so this guide does not invent one. On the Bukit, the drink comes with the cliff: the Hedonism Lounge and Sunset Theater at El Kabron, the Monday Last Light sunset at Savaya, and daybeds at White Rock on Melasti Beach. For a bar that is a bar first, Rock Bar is in Jimbaran, on the way up. The concierge books the place and the evening around it.
Why there is no list of Uluwatu bars
Uluwatu has bars we do not work with, and we only write about venues FirstBali books and has checked. None of those is a stand-alone cocktail bar in Uluwatu today. So this page is about where guests actually have their drink on the cliffs, and how to build a night from it. El Kabron: the drink at the cliff edge
El Kabron stands on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu above the Indian Ocean. It has three parts, and two of them answer the cocktail question:
- The Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas.
- The Sunset Theater, at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners.
- A Mediterranean restaurant serving seafood, oysters, paella and steak.
What sets it apart is the music at sunset: its sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, and the weekly regulars include the White Sunset Party and the Afro House Sunset Party. Savaya: sunset from The Cube
Savaya is a clifftop club in Pecatu, between jungle and limestone cliffs above the Indian Ocean, with pools and The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. It is a club rather than a bar, but its Monday night, Last Light, is a sunset set from The Cube, which makes it the place for a drink at sundown that turns into a night. At weekends the club hosts international headliners, and on Sundays "People of the Sun". DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named Savaya number one in Asia from 2024 to 2026 and fifth in the world, as Savaya states.
The terms are the venue's: strictly 21+ with a valid photo ID, smart casual, cashless, bags searched, no outside food or drink. Re-entry is only with a table. Some nights have a guestlist you register for on the night's page, others are ticketed only; registering does not guarantee complimentary entry. White Rock: a daybed on Melasti Beach
White Rock Beach Club sits on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, near Uluwatu, at the end of the cliff. Guests settle on daybeds, sofas or cabanas around a lagoon pool and a rock pool, resident DJs play every day, and there are enclosed, air-conditioned party suites overlooking the pool and the ocean. Rock Bar: the bar, in Jimbaran
If you want a bar with a cocktail list as the point, Rock Bar is AYANA Bali's cliffside bar in Jimbaran, north of the Uluwatu cliffs. You reach it by inclinator, watch the sunset over the sea and stay as the DJs play on. The cocktails are inspired by the colours of the sea, with Mediterranean tapas built on Jimbaran Bay seafood. Three ways to shape the evening

Getting there and back
The Bukit's venues are spread along the cliffs and the roads are winding, so a driver for the night is the simple answer, especially after drinks. Transport has the cars, and the concierge can add one to the booking.
