Bachelor party at Savaya: door, table and transport
A bachelor party at Savaya: a men-only group meets a door that prefers mixed groups, so book a table in the groom's name, pick the night, leave the props behind and travel as one.
Updated October 21, 2026 · 4 min read

A bachelor party at Savaya is possible, but a men-only group should not count on walking in. Savaya states that mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred and that management decides at the door; everyone must be 21 or over with a photo ID; and toys, props and inflatables are not allowed in. The reliable plan is a table booked in the groom's name, confirmed by the venue, plus one vehicle with a driver for the whole group.

A men-only group at Savaya's door
This is where a stag group differs from a couple, and it is the venue's own wording:
- "Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred." A group of men is not refused by rule, but it is not what the venue says it prefers.
- Management decides. Savaya reserves the right to refuse entry at its discretion, and a guestlist registration never guarantees entry.
- The list is per person. Each guest registers individually for each event; the form asks how many women and men are in the party, and the venue states that false information means you are not added.
- A table changes the picture. It is a reservation the venue has accepted for your group on that night, not a hope at the door.
Which night for a stag
- Weekend headliner nights — the big nights of the week, often ticketed only, with no list. Savaya's tickets are primarily for standing room only, so a group that wants to stay together needs a table.
- Monday, Last Light — a sunset set from The Cube, if the stag weekend runs into the week. See Savaya Last Light.
- Sunday, People of the Sun — a day-into-night finale. See Savaya on Sunday.
Each night's page on the events page shows its entry terms; they change night by night.
The table, booked in the groom's name
A table is the only reserved space at Savaya. On the venue's table maps each area has its own minimum party size, and the larger groups go to areas such as the Cabanas, Bungalows and Ocean Edge View. The minimum spend is set by Savaya for each area and each night and includes food and beverage credit; FirstBali confirms it with the venue for your date, and we never quote it here. Only a table allows re-entry. A deposit, when the venue asks for one, follows Savaya's terms and is not a confirmation: the table is yours once Savaya confirms it. More in Savaya table booking.
What stays at the villa
- Props, toys and inflatables. They are on Savaya's list of items not allowed in, and bags are searched.
- Matching shirts that break the code. Smart casual for everyone: no beer-branded singlets, denim cut-offs or sportswear. See the Savaya dress code and the men's dress code guide.
- Luggage and big bags. Lockers are limited and first come, first served.
- Cash. Savaya is cashless; bring cards.
Where Savaya fits in the weekend
Savaya is the big night, so build the rest around it rather than before it. A long boat day followed by the clifftop at night makes a very long day, and the door decides on the night. Many groups put the boat or the beach club on another day, and keep the Savaya day for the villa and a group dinner. The full weekend, in order, is in the Bali bachelor party guide; the group-night detail is in Savaya for a big group.
Moving the group
Savaya is on the cliffs of Pecatu, at the southern tip of the island. One vehicle with a driver keeps the group together both ways:
- Toyota Hiace Premio — a minibus with a driver, for a large stag group.
- Toyota Alphard — a luxury people-carrier with a driver, for a smaller one.
- A second car if some of the group will leave earlier: arranged in advance, not found at the door.
Directions are in getting to Savaya; every vehicle is on the transport page.
How FirstBali arranges it
Send the concierge the date, the exact number of guests, how many women and men, and where you are staying. FirstBali asks Savaya for a table that fits the group, comes back with the venue's answer and minimum spend, and books the minibus in the same conversation. One organiser on the group's side keeps it simple. The assistant answers at any hour, and the team works through the Bali day and evening.

Questions we get asked
+Can a men-only bachelor group get into Savaya?
No rule forbids it, but Savaya states that mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred and management decides. A table confirmed by the venue is the reliable way in.
+Can we bring props or inflatables for the groom?
No. Toys, props and inflatables are on Savaya's list of items not allowed in, and bags are searched.
+Is a ticket enough for a stag group?
A ticket gets each person in, but Savaya's tickets are primarily for standing room only. A table gives the group a reserved space and re-entry.
+Does a deposit confirm the table?
No. Any deposit follows Savaya's terms; the table is yours once the venue confirms it.
+What should the group wear?
Smart casual for everyone, with no beer-branded singlets, denim cut-offs or sportswear. Matching outfits must still pass the code.
+How do we get the whole group there?
One vehicle with a driver, such as the Toyota Hiace Premio minibus, booked both ways before you leave.
