Hen party at Savaya: door rules, table and transport

Planning a hen party at Savaya: the venue prefers mixed groups, searches bags and refuses props, so book a table, pick the right night, check every ID and outfit, and travel as one group.

Savaya works for a hen party if the group plans around the venue's own rules. Savaya states that mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred, that everyone must be 21 or over with a photo ID, and that toys, props and inflatables are not allowed in. A table booked in the bride's name is the surest way for an all-women group to have its own space and come back in if someone steps out; one vehicle with a driver gets everyone there and home together.

Is Savaya a good choice for a hen night?

It suits a group that wants one big, dressed-up night on the clifftop rather than a costume party. Savaya is on the Uluwatu clifftop in Pecatu, and DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs poll, as published by Savaya, lists it first in Asia from 2024 to 2026. What it is not is a venue for sashes, inflatables or party props: those stay at the villa. If the weekend's theme depends on them, keep that for the villa or the boat and make Savaya the elegant night. The rest of the weekend is in the Bali hen party guide.

The door rules a hen group meets

  • Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. A women-only group is not refused by rule, but the venue says what it prefers, and management decides on the night.
  • Registration is not a guarantee. On a night with a list, each guest registers on their own for that event, and the venue states that registration does not guarantee complimentary entry.
  • 21 and over, every one of you. Each guest needs a current, valid photo ID: a passport or a driver's licence, the original.
  • Bags are searched. Toys, props and inflatables are on Savaya's list of items not allowed in. Lockers are limited and luggage is not recommended.
  • The dress code is per person. Smart casual for everyone; matching outfits are fine as long as each one passes. See the Savaya dress code and the women's dress code guide.

Which night to choose

Savaya's week has a shape, and each night suits a different kind of hen group:

  • Monday, Last Light — a sunset set from The Cube, for a group that wants the view as much as the dance floor. See Savaya Last Light.
  • The weekend — headliner nights, the busiest of the week. Some of them are ticketed only, with no list, and a table matters most.
  • Sunday, People of the Sun — a day-into-night Sunday, often the last night of a long weekend. See Savaya on Sunday.

Terms change night by night; each one's page on the events page says whether it has a list, tickets or both.

Why a table for the bride

  • It is reserved. A table is the only reserved space at Savaya, and it is yours once the venue confirms it.
  • Re-entry. Only a table lets you leave and come back in.
  • One place for the group to meet, put bags down and take photos.
  • The minimum spend is set by Savaya for each area and each night and includes food and beverage credit. FirstBali confirms it with the venue for your date; we never quote it here.

If the group would rather try the list, read the Savaya guestlist guide first, and remember that a night can be ticketed only. Paying a deposit, when the venue asks for one, follows Savaya's terms and is not a confirmation in itself.

Getting the group there and back

Pecatu is at the southern tip of the island, and a group in several cars arrives in several moments. One vehicle with a driver keeps the hen party together:

  • Toyota Hiace Premio — a minibus with a driver, for a large group.
  • Toyota Alphard — a luxury people-carrier with a driver, for a smaller group.

Fix the return before you leave the villa. Directions and drop-off are in getting to Savaya, and every vehicle is on the transport page.

The checklist before you leave

  1. Every ID, original and valid.
  2. Every outfit checked against the dress code.
  3. Cards, not cash. Savaya is cashless.
  4. Small bags, no props. Sashes, inflatables and accessories stay at the villa.
  5. The driver's number on more than one phone.

How FirstBali arranges it

Send the concierge the date, the number of guests, where you are staying and the kind of night you want. FirstBali asks Savaya for a table that fits the group, comes back with the venue's answer and minimum spend, and arranges the minibus in the same conversation. The assistant answers at any hour, and the team works through the Bali day and evening.
