Hen party at Zumana: door rules, table and transport
A hen party at Zumana, Kuta: mixed groups are preferred, bags are searched and props refused, payment is card or QRIS only. Book a table, pick the night and travel as one group.
Updated October 21, 2026 · 4 min read

Zumana is a beachfront club at Sunset Bay, Kuta, and it can carry a hen party's big night if the group follows the venue's rules. Zumana's terms say mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred and management decides; the door is 21+ with a photo ID; toys, props and inflatables are prohibited and every bag is subject to search; and the venue takes card and QRIS, not cash. A table in the bride's name gives the group its own space and the right to come back in.

Why Zumana for a hen night
Zumana is a Savaya Group property that opened in August 2026, on the sand at Sunset Bay near the airport end of the Kuta coast. For a hen group staying in Seminyak, Legian or Kuta, it is the partner club closest to the villa, and its sunset nights suit a group that wants the light first and the dance floor after. What it is not is a costume venue: the sashes, inflatables and party accessories belong to the villa or the boat. Decide early who in the group is organising: one person talking to the concierge, with the final headcount, makes the table request simple. The rest of the weekend is in the Bali hen party guide.
The door rules a hen group meets
- Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. A women-only group is not refused by rule, but management decides on the night.
- Registration is not a guarantee. On a night with a list, each guest registers individually for that event; registration does not guarantee complimentary entry.
- 21 and over, every guest, with the original of a current, valid photo ID such as a passport or driver's licence.
- Bags are searched. Zumana's prohibited items include outside food and drink, toys, props and inflatables.
- Dress to the code, each of you. Matching outfits are fine as long as each one passes; see the Zumana dress code and the women's dress code guide.
Which night to choose
- Saturday, Ritual of the Sun — Zumana's sunset night on the beach, the obvious choice for a hen weekend's Saturday. See Ritual of the Sun.
- Zumana Sunday — an afternoon by the sea that turns into a sunset and a night; a gentler last day. See Zumana on Sunday.
- Weeknights — a rotation that includes Made in Kuta. See Zumana's weekly nights.
Each night's page on the events page shows whether it has a list, tickets or both: terms change night by night.
Why a table for the bride
- It is reserved. A table is the only reserved space at Zumana — a daybed, a sofa or a cabana, depending on the night's map — and it is yours once Zumana confirms it.
- Re-entry. Only a table lets you leave and come back in.
- One base for the group, for bags, photos and the toast.
- The minimum spend is set by Zumana for each night and works as food and beverage credit. FirstBali confirms it with the venue; we never quote it here.
How the map works is in Zumana table booking. A deposit, when the venue asks for one, follows Zumana's terms and is not a confirmation in itself.
Getting there and back
Zumana's FAQ gives the drop-off across the street from Waterbom Bali, and parking at Discovery Mall. For a group, one vehicle with a driver is simpler than several cars:
- Toyota Hiace Premio — a minibus with a driver, for a large group.
- Toyota Alphard — a luxury people-carrier with a driver, for a smaller group.
Book the return before you leave. More in getting to Zumana and on the transport page.
The checklist before you leave
- Every ID, original and valid.
- A card or QRIS on every phone. Zumana takes no cash.
- Every outfit checked against the dress code.
- No props, small bags. Everything gets searched.
- The driver's number on more than one phone.
How FirstBali arranges it
Tell the concierge the date, the number of guests, where you are staying and the night you have in mind. FirstBali asks Zumana for a table that fits, comes back with the venue's answer and minimum spend, and books the minibus in the same conversation. The assistant answers at any hour, and the team works through the Bali day and evening.
